My Story So Far

So I was sleeved on 9/12, started at 325. After the first week I lost 17 lbs and since then have averaged about 3 lbs a week. I am one month out from surgery today and have lost 27 lbs. I had no complications at all, if it wasn't for these 7 incision sites on my stomach I can't tell I have even anything done. I am excited I have lost that much but I see where people have lost like 40 lbs.

Great job! I recommend (this is me saying this before I even had surgery) - put that scale in the basement and stop weighing yourself. I am a daily/few times a day weigher - it's an addiction. I would weigh yourself now maybe every other week or once a month. You KNOW you are going to lose the weight now - your body doesn't have a choice in the matter. It's now trying to figure out what happened and how to respond.

I am so happy for you that you lost 27# in the first month. Way to go!!
