  1. Also if you are posting this question you must be worried. "REFRIED" beans are quite gloopy or solid can go down in one big ball I wouldn't eat them right now.
  2. I think you are progressing too fast. That cheese is not soft and does not chew easily. You should worry about stretching your stomach or getting a leak. I would slow down at this point. You have the rest of your life to eat solid foods. Stick with full liquids a little longer then progress to puree, no cheese balls.
  3. I felt weak for the first 3-4 days too. Don't eat too many veggies as they are carbs and you want to shrink your liver. If you can do a pre-op diet I think that it will only help you in the long run(detoxifying your body). Good Luck!
  4. Hey readyto2skinny, my surgery is Monday and I just emailed Alma to find out all of those particulars. She gave me both the co-ordinators numbers, the drivers number(which I already had) and told me what the process is for pick up and departure. They do take you to and from the hotel and I am sure if you want to go shopping they will accomodate you. Don't worry everything will be fine! See you on the other side!!
  5. I would love too. If you would like to private message me with your email I would be happy to share my expereince with you. thanks for your support.
  6. I am the 10th also in Mexico, knowing we will both sail through
  7. Oh slimmom I am so happy for you, what a great feeling!! Yes we are all in this together. You need to tell your husband that MC crappy is not healthy for either him or your kids, feed them some healthy foods!!
  8. Good luck to you I only have today, tomorrow then one day clear liquids then surgery. We can do it!!
  9. your story is similar to mine in that I have a lapband and was very active at LBT UNTIL I decided to have a revision to the sleeve; my surgery is in three days. The sleeve is permanent and the lapband is not. I am now glad to be getting a permanent surgery for my weight loss journey. Best of luck to you and keep posting!!
  10. Hey that's great I have three more days until surgery. The pre-op has been good and not looking forward to one day clear liquids(fearing dizziness, fatigue) but I can do this!! Hang in there it will be here before you know it. I booked surgery just three weeks in advance. I don't think that I could of handled a longer wait.
  11. My surgery is on the 10th in Mexico with Dr. Garcia. Pre-op has gone very well 9 pound weight loss in 7 days. I am very ready to go but as expected excited but also nervous. I wonder how I will feel, how I will do with the weight loss, will I be nauseous on the plane ride home, will I feel awful or great. Flying out to San Diego on Sunday so one more day at home to get ready and go!!
  12. Some one also mentioned that "peppermint oil" is good for nausea I am bring some too. Biotin mouth spray if your mouth gets dry and you can't drink
  13. The correct term for number 3. IS either genitals or labia. Can't see your V unless you are a contorcionist(sp)
  14. I am going for a revision from the band to the sleeve on the 10th. I have had the band for 5 years. As you must see from your friends with issues, there can be some and then you may need it removed and be back to where you started: getting the sleeve. I say sleeve all the way.
  15. I have Dr Garcia on the 10th of sept with ready 4a change. My coordinator Alma sent the entire package even before I scheduled my surgery.
  16. Apple juice is fat free just has natural occuring sugar unless you had ones that add sugar. This could cause you to get sick
  17. I agree with the other poster. Sounds like you are eating way to much too soon. How can you eat two slices of bread with pbj you are definitely at risk of getting a leak. Slow down and take this process slowly. You will have the rest of your life to eat solid foods!
  18. Did you lose alot of weight pre surgery? Are you sipping your water all day long?
  19. My best advice is to put down your fork wherever you are home, work or out with friends. When you are chewing focus on that, do not talk, just do your chewing, put down your fork. Wait then to speak when you have swallowed that small fork of food. It takes some work but you will get very used to it. I have been doing this with my band for years, revising to sleeve on the 10th, and you get so used to it you don't even realize that you are doing it!!
  20. This is my 5th day pre-op. I have been grumpy, dizzy, hungry(tummy grumbling) but today I feel better. I did take my multi-vitamin and B12 today as I was waiting for permission. I think the B12 helps with dizzy feeling.
