  1. I have been afraid to clean out my closet for that reason. I have like 8 things that I rotate and wear. The rest are just huge pieces of clothing hanging there to make it look like I have clothes. My workout clothes hang on me, my tshirts look like dresses. I have 49 more pounds to go and I just dont want to buy anything.... I know I can go to consignment and thrift stores but hate to.....
  2. If they are a good bariatric surgeon with a good staff they should have a check list that you go thru. First call your insurance company and see what they require. If you are having tests now you need to make sure they carry over to next year. Because if you are required to have a 6 months supervised diet you will be into next year for your surgery date. You have to be proactive and the first place to start is with your insurance company.

  18. good job honey!! What a great milestone!!
  19. Sounds like a great way to get your protein in... I gave up coffee the day of my surgery so
  20. Jeff, Have to agree with Vicki and Don. What point would it serve to say anything to anyone who is negative. It may make you feel good in the short term to tell them what you really think but it wont sway them to your side. Keep the positive flow going and just dont engage in any conversations with them about your surgery. Its such a life changing experience... dont let anyone tell you its not... I know for me it has changed my life.
  21. congrats... 2013 is going to be a great year!!!
