  1. Very good Kiwi. Such a proud moment!!!
  2. Congrats on taking that step. I wish I liked to weight train at all. I just really like walking and outside at that so a gym is just not my thing... tried it... but eh... good luck and I hope it all works out
  3. I really believe that attending a support group or actively participating in a forum like this truly keeps a person sane and makes us more successful. Congrats on your success so far and I hope you get a date soon!!!
  4. I dont know if you should be worried or not... but I personally never had my throw up taste like acid or bile. I was kinda surprised and still am when I do throw up because it's nothing like pre-surgery throw up. Very foamy and no taste except maybe what I just ate. Nothing gross like before.
  5. I don't know what the weight limits are but a simple phone call would be all it would take. Went to planet fitness before and they were all super nice and helpful!!!
  6. Why even bother responding. Just follow the program and show them a success story
  7. I know there are certain protein that is not absorbed well by rny patients
  8. My nut and dr only want me to use whey protein... Is it ok with your doc???
  9. I bought the blend
  10. Remember too that your fat will release a ton of hormones right now... So you are way more emotional now too.
  11. Iron not irib... Where's the dang auto correct when you need it lol
  12. I had low iron which caused same symptoms you described. Now take an am and pm irib
  13. Everyone cheats on the liquid diet. You should be fine. Some doctors dont even require the liquid diet. My doctor required a 5 day liquid diet to make the liver smaller. I doubt your surgery will be cancelled.
  14. Welcome to the boards. You will find a ton of support here. Good luck on your journey
  15. I used low fat, The last time I made them I added cinnamin. Yummy
  16. FYI.... Not everyone will dump! But the size of your pouch will greatly limit your intake.
  17. I do a protein scoop in my coffee every morning. Mind you didn't try coffee until I was about 7 months out
  18. I was told 1/2 hour before and after. I was also told protein drinks count towards water.
  19. http://www.rnytalk.com/topic/7621-what-ya-eating-tonight/ here ya go
  20. I don't know how old you are but if you are iffy about any type of surgery then don't do it. This is a life altering decision not to be taken lightly. And certainly not a decision to be made by anyone but you. Research research research!!!!
  21. Daisy... What's to miss?? Is food more important then more energy, healthier, happier, better person to be around. You will mourn food, I can promise you that. But in the long run the things you will gain will be so much more meaningful. The mindset of food for pleasure has to change. Other things pleasure me now and food is an afterthought to keep the body going.
  22. go to the thread what ya eating tonight. Lots of great ideas.
