  1. I had stones before I was sleeved. They showed up on CT scan last summer but I was being scanned for a different reason and had no issues then. Was sleeved July 12, had emergency surgery to take gallbladder out aug 12. I never had any pain in my abdomen until the aug 11 when I woke up. I coulndt stand straight. Pretty much hits ya like a bag of rocks.
  2. This week I'm starting Zumba three times a week and piloxing twice a week and the piloxing instructor told me I need to get carbs in. The only suggestion she gave me was sweet potatoes. What are some other good carbs that I can eat. Or is it really necessary to eat carbs? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. Congrats. I've been stuck at 205. Cant wait till I'm in the 100's. Its been almost 10 years since I've been in the 100's
  4. Might want to get it checked out or at least call ur surgeons after hours number and see what they say. My gallbladder had been blocked for so long the the inside of my gallbladder had absorbed all the pigment of the bile left in there and the bile was clear. Surgeon said that is extremely rare.
  5. Well I went in. They did an ekg and chest xray. They said they were normal. Diagnosis: costal chondritis. Inflammation in the ribs. We will see what happens. I'm not a fan of the e.r. I went to as it is. I went for pain on my right side. Took blood and it was normal so sent me home. Went to a different hospital same day and had emergency surgery to take my gallbladder out.
  6. You would have to go in and get it checked. I had pain but lower by my hip and thought it was appendix. Turned out that my gallbladder had been blocked for a very long time and I had it taken out.
  7. I haven't had any issues since surgery. Could it really be gas still almost after 3 weeks? I called a nurse hotline and she said I should go in to get checked. I hate that I have to take my 5 yr old to watch them do everything to me.

  9. Yeah its more to the right side. I don't know if blood clots would still be an issue. I had my gallbladder out almost 3 weeks ago.
  10. Empties food out of the stomach faster
  11. Today was my first day working out since surgery. I'm 7 weeks out. I did a Zumba class then a piloxing class this morning. It hurts whenever I take a deep breath, right in the middle of my chest. Should I be worried?
  12. I'm 7 weeks out today and I can start steamed veggies and peeled fruits. I had a peeled apple and was amazing. I like the granny smith apples and I peeled it and it was soooo delicious.
  13. I switch it up with lipton diet green tea, citrus or watermelon. I think switching it up makes it a little easier to get fluids in. Maybe you could try some of that?
  14. Yes I called my surgeons office and told them I wasn't getting any pain relief and I went in and a PA at my surgeons office did the injection. It was numbing medicine and steroids to help with the inflammation. I was taking liquid percocet and getting absolutely no relief. After the injection I needed no pain meds.
