  1. Mine also does restorative surgery including boob lifts. The issue came up with me as well. Many gs patients have their boobs go seriously south...or would that be. North? Anyhoo, if he comments again ask if there is a problem does he do restorative work. His answer will probably answer your comcerns without thoroughly insulting him.
  2. Soon you won't be hiding in the back of those family photos . Your doing fab!
  3. He should be there before during and after surgery. Honestly you have to rethink your child care if he can't be away thet long. When you are not lucid they are your lifeline. You would be a fool to go into surgery without one! Anyone, but SOMEONE.
  4. Wowsers baby! Nice work! Pics?
  5. As a mom who can no longer care for her child after surgery, I'd suggest that you also learn about the risks from internal bleeding. You can read my story in the story threads.

You need to wait at least two months from surgery so that the blood thinning effects of the alcohol don't cause problems. That said, my doc says no way to any carbonation until six months to a year.
  7. I have relatively little pain from the normal part of the surgery and would compare it somewhat to the csection pain, but I was on morphine after the c section (which I am apparently hyperactive to) so I spent the first four days talking to Martians and yelling at my lovely nurses and any invisible people who stopped by. So my comparison of both is from day four when I found lucidity . I will say though that from an hour after the surgery when my complication reared it's ugly head (internal bleeding, a .25% risk or 1 in 400 for anyone...higher for high risk clients) my pain was excruciating. For nearly 24 hours it felt like someone was cutting my body with a chain saw over and over. I spasamed for five days (picture the never ending epileptic fit) until my blood pressure finally mad it safe to give me Meds. Incisions...don't even notice. The balance....the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life.
  8. I think that just means no sugar added.
  9. I'd stick to what I posted then keeping nates info in mind
  10. They fall in my puréed period if they are strained, unsweetened and puréed finely. And probably not laced with vodka lol (which is so yummy). Are you in the puréed stage yet?
  11. I'm glad you are feeling better Hun. You probably know my answer but I'll say it anyhoo. Assess your life and I'd you need to wait, the surgery will always be there. I hope you suffer nothing like I did but I'd prepare for a bit of that and if all goes easy you'll just be over prepared which never hurts.
  12. That's a very small thing to throw a friend away for Hun.
  13. I'm there right now dear so let me answer. I am getting in around 9gs daily. This is not enough for your body to heal from the surgery, let alone keep it operating all of the other vital functions it needs for your daily survival. Protein is basically the healer and the builder in your body. At a bare minimum you MUST get in 30g to just operate your body. During our early weeks we shoot for sixty gs which leaves some to spare to rebuild our broken bodies. Unless you have serious complications as I do, 30 is not a goal to shoot for. You want to heal right? Without the protein your pain will linger on and you will experience weakness you've never known. I myself can't pick up a china tea cup with f oz of Fluid without shaking. And yes long term without protein you could die. If I can't get to 30 by Tuesday I may be sent home with an ng feeding tube. You do not want this!
  14. I had internal bleeding after the surgery. If you go to the stories section post off my post explaining it all is called something like the story you don't want to hear but should.
  15. Honey, I had the same conversations with my dear friends. They love me as I am, I'm beautiful, something could happen....all of this was said with immense love and in the end after an hour long lecture on the beach over a bottle of champs, they agreed to set aside their fears and be there for me however I need them. But you know what? I was wrong. All the impossible happened and I nearly died. They were right. Now this is when you know you have a true friend. They have taken my boy sailing, horseback riding, crabbing, etc. one is hosting a charity dinner for me because I will still be in bed sept 15. They're doing they can to help me. They had to assimilate the process. It is extreme, they're right. Give her a little time. If she is a true friend her worry will turn back into support, but she is fair to worry.
