  3. I just made it this weekend. I portioned it out in 4 oz ramken (sp) dishes and it was DELICIOUS! Best thing I have ever tasted since being sleeved. I'm 3 weeks out and I needed some variety during my 2 week pureed/mushy stage. I will definitely be making this again.
  4. Has anyones face broken out post op? I feel like I went to sleep on Friday and woke up Saturday morning as if I had an allergic reaction all over my face. Face burning, red bumps and all. Never experienced such a break out. Trying to do process of elimination...new facial cleanser or effects of surgery. Has this happened to anyone?
  5. Im 2 weeks post op. Ive been experiencing everyother day what feels like a slight burning sensation in my throat. Its as if there is a lump in my chest and/or throat and I want to vomit but I can't. Its kind of like I swallowed a peppermint patty that is now stuck in my throat. What is this? Has anyone experienced this?

  7. I was sleeved on Nov 9th. So far so good. I stayed in the hospital overnight. I'm on clear liquids for 2 weeks. The gurgling in my stomach is annoying. I'm not sure if its gas or hunger or both. I've been able to get my liquids down. I tried sf jello and it hurt. My doc doesn't want me to be concerned with protein the first 2 weeks. Just stay hydrated. I have however incorporated some form of protein drink in my 48oz. I do a leisure walk 1-2 times per day. I'm exhausted afterwards. I have started taking my vitamins which have helped my energy levels. Looking forward to the pureed stage....I'm over these liquids. Lol

  12. Hi November Sleevesters! I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. I had surgery on November 9th. I feel better than expected. No real pain, no vomiting. I was up walking a few hours after my surgery. Just working on staying hydrated with water, broth, popsicles and diluted isopure. SF Jello doesn't go down to well so I'm staying away from that. I've been walking slowly. Coughing hurts and my stomach is constantly rumbling/ gurgling...what's that all about? I've been sleeping in my living room chair which feel good for my stomach but not for the greatest sleep. Sending prayers to those of you with upcoming surgeries. Stay positive and prayerful that everything will be ok.
  13. I am 3 days post op and thankfully so far so good. Not on any pain meds and I am doing pretty well with getting most of my fluids down, however sleep is an issue. Can't seem to get a good position in my bed so I have bee. Sleeping in my living room chair. My stomach doesn't hurt, just a feeling of discomfort. How long did it take for the discomfort in your tummy to go away and how we're you able to get sleep post op?
