  1. I have completed everything except the blood work and pre-op consult to get dietary instructions
  2. I got approved two days ago. I've never been more excited about something
  3. Thank you for the replies. I'm worried about such a drastic change overnight. I'm certainly addicted to food and use it as comfort when I'm stressed. I need to use this time to find another way to cope with stress. I do know my doctor has done over 1500 bands and has only had two people with minor issues. I also got to meet some of his patients in person at the meeting I had to attend to start the process. I'm so ready for this!!!
  4. Ive been approved for surgery and will have the band put in 10/2 due to work commitments. My surgeon said that he puts 4-5ccs in the day he does the surgery. Has anyone else been filled right away? What was your experience like?
