  1. I would love some tips on this as well.
  2. Hi momytothree, I lost my father 6 months ago and I totally hear what you are saying. I have always used food a a cruch. I am currently 8 days post-op and I of course can't turn to food. I have been feeling much better physically, however I just can't find the energy to do the things I wanted to do in my recovery time (I.e organize house etc). I guess it's just going to be a long road.
  3. Yep I just checked my app center and there is no update for this app appearing, meaning I have the most updated. I'm still having issues
  4. Comments like that are said out of jealousy. Geez that is terrible!
  5. You may star getting a headache don't worry it will pass. I spent a lot of time on this site to pre-occupy my mind from food and also learned a lot. Just do our best. Good luck
  6. Zoink that is fantastic!
  7. Ok I'm definitely checking the man room out more often. This is great. Now I know why I lived with two guys in college as there is never a dull moment.
  8. My husband and I own a 35 foot cabin cruiser on lake Michigan, and I am first mate. I work the ropes jump in and out when docking etc. i am 7 days post op and was wondering if there are any boaters out there, and when you were able to resume your duties after surgery. The open water is my husbands life and I won't allow him to go out by himself.
  9. My app is not working correctly either. I am unable to see when someone comments on a post anymore.
  10. Won ton soup sounds good. I'll have to convince the hubby to go get me some:-)
  11. Mine was July 30th I'm 7 days out. Keep up the good work. I only wish I could walk my dogs at this stage, however they are boxers and get side tracked by squirrels.
  12. Good luck. You will do just fine. See you on the other side :-)
  13. I totally forgot about today's meeting. Dd you guys meet? I am feeling much better, and would love to join the next hat together as well.
  14. I'm on the 2 week post -op liquid phase now and will sip from little one oz cups and I get the same pain up in my chest several imes when sipping. I was hoping it would eventually go away, as it can't be the amount I'm eating because it is so little.
