  1. About a month and a half post-op. My Burping was bad the first few weeks after my surgery but they seem to have subsided a lot.

  4. Same here, got my first fill today .5cc they did numb me up too and I had to drink water to see if was too tight. All around not a painful experience at all!

  7. I am 5 weeks out from my surgery and I was burping like crazy about a week and a half ago, but it seems like it has gone away. The only time I feel 'burpy' is when I first get up in the morning and my tummy is empty.
  8. Was banded July 3, 2012, and as of today I am down 57 lbs! Gonna work hard on the next 43 so I can make it an even 100.

  13. I'm 4 weeks out and for the past few days I had the 'brick' in my stomach feeling. I think its just gas because I am burping like crazy!
  14. I am 1 month out today, had my surgery on July 3rd. I was fine up until last week and was pain free, when suddenly I woke up last Monday with a lot of pain in my abdomen. I could not move without it hurting. But its slowly faded over the past week, now I have very little pain. My doc said that I might have overdone it as well and pulled on my internal stitches.
  15. Anyone ever experience whne you eat or drink something that air bubble feeling as it goes down. Seems like the past few days I have had a lot of trapped air in my tummy. I took a drink of iced tea and it almost came back up on me until I let out a huge burp. I am 3 weeks out and hope this will pass.

  17. Mood swings, heh. During the liquid stage I had a very short fuse, I was grumbly, depressed and just generally unpleasant. It did pass though, trust me after the surgery, you will be glad for the liquids.
  18. Thanks all, I am still in shock over losing that much, I've never lost more than 20 lbs. on any diet....ever. Plus, it might help that since the band I have like zero appetite, its weird.
  19. Was banded on 7/3, had my first post-op visit yesterday. Down 51 lbs! But I still have a long way to go.
  20. I hate that! My son and I made a joke of it. I call it America's Favorite new surrpise game. 'That Wasn't Gas.' Since I started I had a few emergency washings, but your body settles down, right now its reacting to the sudden change of diet.
  21. I am 3 weeks out since my surgery and all I do is burp, burp, burp. Seems when I eat something I burp a lot after, like the foord is forcing the air out, Gas-X doesn't touch it.
  22. I was banded on July 3rd and today I had my first post-op visit. Although I have a slight infection, which I am taking anti-biotics for. I stepped on the scales and I am down 51Lbs!!! I almost fainted when I saw the scale stop a lot lower than I had expected. But I am a real big guy and have a bunch of weight to lose. Say so long to the 600s. I am so happy I could just burst. I still feel a bit weepy over it.
