  1. Has anyone ever taken Imodium or something of its nature?

  3. I totally understand how you feel. I would be sitting in the middle of a college class and my friends next to me would start cracking up because my stomach was making so much noise. Lets just say it still does it even after almost 4 months and 1 fill but not as much. It really makes me laugh. I have found that drinking water while it does it really helps, especially when I am not able to "feed" the monster inside. :-)
  4. Fericito, Thanks alot. How have you found this type of eating helps with the band?

  6. Hi everyone So I really need to find some cookbooks or healthy eating guides to make food a little more interesting for me, even though I can barely eat anything. After almost 4 months of being banded I am getting to the point where I do not even want to eat because I am so bored/ dont know what else to try regarding food. ANY suggestions will help and be very appreciated. Thanks :-)
  7. Thank you guys SOO much for all your help. Just wanted to let you know I talked to my doctor and he said that my Stomach is probably inflamed and therefore anything that goes down is causing the discomfort. Have to be on a medication regiment for the next 10 days and then back on a strict liquid diet for the next 4 days. So glad that it is not something worse. Thanks again & God Bless. :-)
  8. So I know that I can't and shouldn't eat bread because it doesn't sit well with my band. However last night we went out to dinner & I had a piece of Stromboli. Like not even an hour later I was bent over with that diaphragm pain. Nothing worked to make it better & I couldn't get myself to try & bring it up. This morning I am still in pain but I do not think the band slipped because I can keep Water down. Any suggestions on what I should do or personal battles with the same issue? Thanks :-)
