I have taken Imodium and did fine.

My doctor said it was totally okay to take some pepto

My surgeon advised that Imodium was not recommended. He advised me to get probiotic supplements, which to be truthful do not seem to help. :(

My surgeon told me they have Imodium chewables and now and then it's okay to take them.

But please check with YOUR doctor.
