  1. Had my surgery yesterday, Aug 6 at 10am. Woke up ok, with pain and pressure in my chest. Surgery itself went well. Fighting bad gas pain, but tolerable. Pain meds an gas x on board. Ok so far!

  4. My surgery is tomorrow morning at 10am. I am super nervous, and reach these boards has really helped. I can't wait to start reclaiming my life again!!!

  6. My Dr doesn't even have us start on protein until day 7. You're fine if you just stay hydrated!
  7. Isopure liquid. Bottled in many flavors and 40grams protein per bottle. Thin like juice or water. Easy to get down over ice.

  9. Hi Everyone, I'm finally introducing myself. My surgery will be in San Diego on August 6, a few days after I return from a trip to Greece and Italy. I've been reading everyone's posts for months and feel so grateful for all of the wonderful information! I'm so excited to start getting my life back.
  10. Nice to meet you! I am so excited for my surgery. My parents and roommate have all had gastric bypass, but since my BMI is a little lower and I don't have diabetes, he recommended the sleeve. I am out of the country in July on a cruise, then I come back and have my suregery 6 days later. How long did it take you to feel well enough to work?
