  1. Hi there hope this info will help. If u pm me with your enmail addy I will pass it on to Josie who runs the group and she will contact you to confirm details of next meeting.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Surrey Support Group happens every first Wednesday of every month at the Holiday Inn , Hugo's bar in Woking. We meet up in a small mezzanine between the bar and the restaurant, on the right hand side of the entrance. You'll find us sitting at a large table, close to the cigar machine. The parking is free, when you get to the barrier, just tell reception you are going to Hugo's bar, they will let you in; you can park downstairs in the garage or in the open air if there are any spaces. If you are coming with the train , the Holiday Inn is less then 5 minutes walking from the station. My opp was quite traumatic as they had a job to get the band out.I still cant eat large amounts which is great, but i am finding i can almost eat anything. I still find bread a problem. And if i do eat to much I get stomach cramps. The main problem that I have is I am in quite an emotinal state, and i have nad a few bottles of wine. I no this is not good but its my way of coping at the moment.I have gained about 4 to five pounds which has really freaked me out. But I am trying to stay positive.Mrs D

  17. Hi there, Well i am just waiting for the phone call from the hospitol to advice me when i can go in and have my band removed. More problems now through. My port has slipped and I have Cellulitis. The mrsa seems to be collecting under the skin and an abcess is forming and it will burst very soon.So watch this space. I no things could be a lot worst but there again they could be better. The consultant has said that if the mrsa clears up I could consider another band in aprox 3 months but i may not be able to have one if there is to much damage to my stomach. I really do not want the Byepass. Thanks for reading, keep smileing.Mrs D
