  2. Hi I had a band done I was self funding. I lost my band after a big struggle to keep it I gaine a few stone but the wonderful nhs has just funded an RNY for me i am now post op rny. Mrs D

  9. Hi I had my band removed due to MRSA. 9ONE OF THESE SUPER BUGS WE HAVE HERE IN THE UK) i AM GAINING WEIGHT. Very depessed but the nds is going to fund a gastric by pass for me. My tummy hursts from time to time.

  22. Hi well I have lived life now for 5 months with out my band. My weight has increesed. :whoo: I am seeing my consultant on Wednesday hoping and praying thatI can have another band. I pray to god I can. If he says I cant I will then think about a byepass but really I dont want this. So I feel like some one who has started there journey with wls. I have found it so hard coping without the band. Mrs D
  23. :faint: Hi Everyone, Haven posted for a while due to the way I have been feeling. My weigh has gone up a little but I have been trying hard not to put weight on. Its back to that old fashened method "the diet"!:rolleyes Anyway I have I thnk been to hell and back since my band was removed.. I am seeing the consultant on Wednesday night to see if I can have another band. In fact I am really dreading it because if he says KNOW i really dont know what I will do. I am up and down with mood swings and stress. But on the brighter side I had the all clear last week and the mrsa bug has finally moved out:clap2::clap2: YES. sO its fingers and everything crossed for Wednesday. Hope you are all doing ok.   24. Hi Sometime ago some one asked if there was a support group near Derby. I am sorry for delay in finding out, but details are below. The mid trent obesity support group meets the last wednesday of every month in room 205 devonshire house at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. It is mainly bandsters as this is the procedure that happens in Derby. Hope this helps Mrs D
