    pain in my side

I get this pain on the left side of my abdomen. I have mentioned it to my PA and she didn't seem concerned. It comes and goes. I think it is just gas but was wondering if anyone else experiences this

    question

I had a fill on Tuesday. I ate my lunch too fast today. It didn't come back up, but it felt like it was stuck in my chest for a short time. Then it went away. But now as I eat my dinner I get that same feeling with every bite and I am burping a lot. Anyone experience this?

    Rethinking The Band

Nobody can answer that for you. You have to figure that out for yourself. I have had great success with the band personally. I am down 99 pounds since July of 2011. I lost 36 pounds before surgery and 63 since surgery June 4th. I am feeling great and most days I am so glad i had the surgery. Once in awhile I wish the band wasn't there so I could stuff my face with all the jubk food I wanted Good luck to you.

    Shoulder Tip Pain

It took about 2-3 weeks for the shoulder pain to fully go away for me but it got less every day. Heating pad helped. On day 6 was when I started feeling human again. But I felt so good that day that I overdid it and then slept for the next 2 days. Take it easy. You just had major surgery. Good luck!!

    Shakiness Post-Op

Yes I couldn't write for like 2 weeks after surgery because my hand was so shaky. Once I started eating more protein it got better

    86Lbs Down!!!!

Since my consultation in July 2011 I have lost 86 lbs!!! 47 since my surgery June 4th. I am sooo excited. I don't hate looking at myself in the mirror aymoe and I love that people are asking me if I am losing weight and telling me how great I look!!! However I had my third fill today and it was super painful. The PA was pushing on my belly to find my port and then she marked it and gave me the numbing needle. She then told me to crunch ad pushed around on my belly some more. She inserted the needle - which I felt - and then tried to find my port. She said she couldn't find it and removed the needle. I was in tears from the needle and the pushing on my belly. She offered me more numbing meds which I accepted and then started pushing around again. She kept pushing trying to find my port and then stuck me again. Still pushing and prodding she said she couldn't find the port. Kept hitting the side of it. She pulled the needle out and asked if I wanted her to try again or if I wanted to come back and see the doctor. I didn't really want to come back so she tried one more time and finally found it. But all the pushing on my belly has left me so sore, and slightly nauseous in between the hunger growls. Hoping the nausea is from all the pushing and being hungry. I only got a 1/2 cc put in. Could that have bumped me from still being hungry all the time to being overfilled? And has anyone else experienced such difficulty at a fill?

    Guilty Feelings :(

You may gain a few pounds back at first but don't be discouraged
  9. I am almost 3 months out and I have had 2 fills. I haven't foud anything I can't eat yet. I have eaten - in small amounts - pasta, rice, tortillas with no problems. I eat chicken, pork, and beef. I tried pizza once and had no problems. I have also eaten a few tortilla chips. I haven't tried bread, or cakes or donuts but think it best to stay away from that. Not sure if I am lucky or if this will change as I get my band filled more.

    Question

Do you eat pasta and/or bread? I am afraid to so I really haven't yet and was just wondering what others do

    Getting Started

I am 9 weeks out of surgery and can't seem to get motivated to exercise. My job is pretty physical and I walk my dog almost every day. After all that I just can't seem to get off my butt to do real exercise. Any suggestions on how to ease into it? Thanks
