  8. My only negative is my hair loss. But hair loss s a small price to pay for being 4 months out and 80 lbs lighter! It's the BEST decision I've made in my life. Good luck!! Sent from my iPad using VST
  9. I had surgery 9/7 and am in the same boat. It's horrifying. I cry when I brush my hair. I'm getting all my protein, I'm taking biotin, I don't know what to do. I've never seen so much hair come off someone in my life. I did cut my hair to my shoulders, about 7 inches off..... Still noticeable. I have to wear my hair up 24/7. I'm so upset. But I'm thrilled to be 80 lbs lighter. And to be honest I've never seen a WLS patient go bald, so I think although its sad, there are ways to make it look okay. Best wishes, I know for me it's easier to stay positive, but I do have my moments! Good luck! Chin up! Sent from my iPad using VST
  10. Damnnn! Looking goood!! Sent from my iPad using VST
  11. Sometimes people get the "slimes". When you eat to fast, too much, or something that is hard to digest. Just way extra saliva in your mouth. Then there's some people that also get runny noses. I would say its a sign that you're full, or something along those lines. It's happened to me a few times. Sent from my iPad using VST
  12. Update Surgery 9/7 Pre op: 299 Day of surgery :279 Today : 221 Down 78 lbs total! Holy crap! Once I hit 100lbs lost, I will finally be in onederland. I bough size 16 pants yesterday.... I haven't been in a 16 for at least 12 years!!! Best decision of my life Sent from my iPad using VST
  13. Something to remember.... When you're losing weight.... Estrogen gets stored in fat cells, as you're melting away, this estrogen is getting released, you're going to be up and down, all around with your emotions. I'm a little over 3 months out and still emotional from time to time. Just remember that, and know that he prob was not trying to be mean to you, it looks like he was meaning it nicely, but like I said, you're emotional, you're reading into it. Everything will get better, and he's right, you will be a knock out!!! Sent from my iPad using VST
  14. This is going to sound crazy... But honestly, I feel like the days I stay on track and do what I'm supposed to, I seem to stall. I throw in extra calories and a little junk the next day, and two days later, I'm down 5 lbs. so strange. But here's my day Premier Protein shake Turkey & cheestick Protein Bar usually Atkins cranberry & almond chicken & BBQ sauce I drink mostly crystal light. I did horrible today, but seem to get off track on the weekends. That was my yesterday. I'm not sure if that helps, but there you have it Sent from my iPad using VST
  15. I'm 3 months out, take Biotin daily, 2,000 mg and cut my hair shoulder length and my hair is falling out, but not as bad as it was. I'd say make sure your Protein is up, and add biotin into your daily Vitamins. Sent from my iPad using VST
  16. Thanks everyone. I'm down almost another 10 lbs.. Crazy ! Looooove my sleeve!! Sent from my iPad using VST

  18. Everyone's going to be told something different. My surgeon told me that my body is so used to picking her up that there was no restriction with her. She's was 12 months and 22 lbs, I still took it easy and didn't just hold her all the time. I would pick her up when she wanted a hug and kiss and put her back down. She really didn't understand obviously. I'd do what you feel comfortable with, if you trust ur surgeon listen to him, if you're dying to just hug your baby, take it slow and listen to your bodys cues. Good luck! Xx Sent from my iPad using VST
  19. I do the no surgery added fudgesicles. Low calories, and they taste amazing ( to me anyway) but I do have a sleeve of steel... So idk how it will o for you, but give it a try! Sent from my iPad using VST
