  2. Thanks for all the love <3 just wanted to show how amazing a year with your sleeve can be! I've never been more happy to be me and in my new body
  3. Aww thank you! That feels amazing to hear. It's hard to believe I used to look like that!
  4. Hi! So I'm going to be honest. I eat what I want, when I want. I got this sleeve to help control portions, not control my life. I know Protein is important above all else, so I make protein based meals, but I still enjoy my carbs! Lots of Greek yogurt, cheese, turkey, chicken and a whole lot of beef jerky! (I'm obsessed!) I take Zumba classes regularly, try working on my arms a lot, and as far as my skin, I mean it's not amazing. But I have seen WAY worse. My arms are a little flabby, but I have been using "it works" wraps pretty regularly and that has helped tremendously along with defining gel. hope this helps. It really just depends on the person, everyone's results and theories are different, these are mine . I did get really bad gall stones and have my gall bladder removed a month ago. Phew, glad that's over! Best wishes !!!
  5. I started this journey exactly a year ago today September 7, 2012 I was so nervous and scared for how my life would change and how different things would really be from my normal life. Thank GOD I chose this for me, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm SO happy in my new body and am getting married 11/2/13 <3 can't wait to show off my new less voluptuous curves In my MERMAID wedding dress!!! Cheers sleevers, you are beautiful! Before at 299 Now at 169 Goodbye 130 lbs! Only 9 lbs to go!! <3

No issues here. And I'm a fan of the extra protein shot, and he's a fan of me . Take it slow, I usually swallow twice instead of all at once. Sorry that's really graphic, but it is what it is. Haha. Good luck.
  9. Hey there. Where abouts in NH are you starting this journey? I had my sleeve done in Portsmouth with Dr. Looser. He is amazing and the therapist who did my psych evaluation is amazing as well. He would never fail anyone. If it doesn't work out where you are I would switch to Portsmouth. There are so many support groups and wonderful people, the NUT is wonderful. I was sleeved 9/7/12 and I'm down 105 lbs!! I feel on top of the world and support anyone deciding to be sleeve. It won't solve all your weight problems, you need I eat right, but it does help restrict the over eating best wishes and don't beat yourself up. You're taking the right steps to a healthier and better you! If they deny you, you move on. Take care
  10. Sleeved 9/7/2012 Starting weight 299 lbs Current weight 195 lbs!!! Down 104 lbs!!!!! This was recently but here's a ONEderland shot!
  11. No! Don't be down on yourself. We all lose at different rates. 51 lbs in 6 months is amazing! I more than likely started at a higher beginning weight. The more you weigh, the easier it comes off, as you get lower, it gets harder! Just imagine if we weren't sleeved.... It would take you a heck of a lot more time to lose 51 lbs! Be proud!!!
  12. Thanks everyone means a lot!!
  13. Don't tell anyone, I don't really work out! I'm down to 196 now . I chase my 1 year old around all day that's my exercise. I am 5'10. Thanks so much!!
  14. Thanks sweetie! You'll be there before you know it!!
  15. Aww thanks for the smile!! that's very sweet of you to say.
  16. Hey. Thanks . So I'm probably not the best candidate for asking what I eat. It varies day to day but an overall summary would be I get 60-70 g of protein, I do a lot of tuna, turkey, chicken, beef jerky, eggs, cereal, premier protein shakes, cheese and Greek yogurt. I still eat carbs but not crazily. I allow myself a carb a day, maybe a slice of bread, a few pieces of pasta, nothing too crazy. And I drink a good amount of water, I'd say about 80 oz of water a day. Some days less, somedays more. I eat 6 mini meals a day, and don't exercise as much as I should. I'm getting there. And another thing, I never deprive myself of anything. If I want ice cream, I eat it. About 1 scoop or two but nothing more. Everything I'm doing is working for me, it may not be for everyone, but I'd say I'm doing alright . Don't forget your vitamins!!!!
