  10. I live in Roswell , 10 months post op.. self pay in Mexico and doing great so far. Nice to see this group here
  11. I am 9 months after surgery.. as memory serves .. about 2 months after I could have a small portion of just about anything I wanted. I find pasta and steak to be extremely filling though, even to this day.. but that is the magic of the sleeve. A little dab will do ya You can have a bite or 2 of ANYTHING you choose.. but be very careful about those choices and remember what got us here to begin with. I can also eat cheetos.. I can eat a lot of cheetos..lol crunchy things chewed well seem to be easy.. which means bad . I am kind of stuck at the moment, you become so addicted to running to the scale to see how many pounds you lost today.. well I did anyway.. then it was did I loose a pound this week? now.. I am back to my shakes and cottage cheese and not " testing what I can have" I know I do not NEED it and those things are why I had the surgery and the weight problem to start, So good luck, enjoy and remember to make good choices when you can.
  12. I have.. almost like a ripping feeling.. not sure what it was but it did pass so i was happy.. i was so scared that i had torn my sleeve or something.. maybe is just a muscle?
  13. I am taking 7 tablets / capsules a day so I really hope its ok, i just started last week.. womens mega health pack from gnc
  14. Farmville and Facebook games.
  15. Alex Brecher started following Wildflower
  16. Grats girl.. it only gets better from here. I am so proud of myself and it all started with how well I did pre-op and now I am one month post op. There are soooo many soft mushy terrible things we can have during this time and I am very happy with myself for not having them Wishing you all the best
  17. I have been there for many years, I think that is why I ended up needing the sleeve to start with its way to easy to say leave him, so i won't bother, I am still with mine too. I am only a month out post -op too but i do know I could eat ALOt more than I do and I still find myself wanting to comfort with food.. but I did change the law in my home and kitchen and I don't ever plan on breaking it. Buy yourself healthy snacking options .. you know your gonna graze and snack so do NOT buy the things you used to use like lays and ice cream or brownies or what ever. I have several bags of bean chips.. high Protein chips , they are pretty yummy.. I am basicly living on cottage cheese. I feel for you hunny and all I can say is if it isnt there you cant eat it.. and prepare for those moments while your shopping maybe? much love sister good luck
  18. I am one month out and very happy.. I wish you all the best Just remember, we are all here for you and ask anything you need to ask.. even if its about POOP.. lol
  19. i did a 2 week liquid diet , no carbon test and I am a smoker. I was told its all about the BMi as for how long they want you on liquids. When I had my sleeve though I do know its 24hrs before surgery that you must NOT eat anything
  20. I haven't been out much, but when I do go I just order a yummy sounding soup.. never heard of this card but I was sleeved in Mexico so that may be why .
  21. Thanks for sharing this link.. I don't seem to have any problems swallowing pills.. is there a digestive issue that I may no know about?
  22. My urgent care doc said i was alergic to the material in the stitches .. she took them out and gave me anti-biotic ointment and 10 days worth by mouth again.. they are healing up good now but the top one under my boob is still open. Now im a tad flipped out though - is it the same fishing line holding our stomach together?
  23. i wake up and walk to the scale every single morning ;P and i must say i love it lol I am down 32 lbs since surgery 42 since pre-op. I seem to loose a pound every night while i sleep but I hear that will slow down soon. But I'll damned sure take it for now lol
  24. Wooot!!! now i see where yall are ! lol I made one with the same name So awesome to see you guys, I hope they find Melissa's luggage so we can get the others on here. I am doing pretty fkn fantastic I think..lol and melissa, im pretty much drinking muscle milk now, its just easier to find and isnt too bad tasting , i really loved the banana cream flavor. plus I basicly live on Kraft simply cottage cheese. My sleeping at night has come to an end though, up all fricken night now and sleeping during the day again But I am doing Pilates and sit ups and cleaning and all that stuff so better than sitting on the couch eating and watching tv all night lol Love you all <3
