My best guess is that while in the hospital you had I.V. Anti-inflamitories. These kept the swelling of you're stomach to a minimum. Now that you are out and a few days have past those meds have worn off & your stomach has swollen, thus creating the tighter restriction

Decided to start doing this SW: 255 CW: 235.6 19.4 pounds down in the last two weeks. Excited to do this every week! Such a slave to the scale, and now I'm just going to do it on Saturday's!

Went from 232.6 down to 229.6 for a 3 pound loss. I'm a slow loser so I'm so happy with that and I made it to the 220's which makes it really sweet!!!

I would highly recomend getting an Iolite vaporizer if you plan on using with any regularity.
It eliminates the smoke & that all to distinctive smell. It also will allow you to use much less product

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from boots321 in 2 Month Stall!? Really?
Best explanation I've been able to find on the first stall is:
During the first couple weeks after surgery you are not getting much protien, so your body actually consumes some of your bodys muscle to fuel itself. This also helps to explain the rapid weight loss during the first couple weeks.
Then somewhere around the third week you start consuming more protien, at this point your body starts rebuilding the muscle it has lost.
You are still losing fat, but the muscle you are regaining ofsets the weightloss. This is why you are better measuring your progress with a tape measure rather than a scale.

Don't know if I replied or not, but i have elsewhere. . . 2 months of stalling is frustrating, but try 7 MONTHS of nothing, then finally it budges for another 10 and then that's it. . I have surpassed my goal by 12 lbs and my body said no more. . . i'm out now 3 years and maintaining wonderfully. . . I'm happy as a clam and just as healthy. . . finally after all these years, I actually like myself! Stalls happen, but they move too. . . just be patient and it'll happen for you too. . . don't weigh yourself so often, once every 2 weeks is enough, don't become a slave to the scale. . . that will kill you for sure!

As you can see the difference between a 32 & 36 is minimal.

Caffeine is a diuretic, it also causes dehydration. I won't go as far as to say its not allowed, but if you drink that 16oz Monster be prepared to drink an additional 32oz of Water to replace what it strips.

    Hi Tabby,
Well, let's see, before surgery I couldn't walk more than 50-100yards without my back being in pain, my feet swelled &hurt, I damaged my knee, had sleep apnea.
I alienated my family because I didn't want to get up and do anything. My wife was hurt because my interest in sex was gone(she assumed it was her fault).
43days post-op. my back pain is gone, my feet feet still hurt a little, but that's from walking 1/2mile in worn out boots(no notable swelling), my knee looks like its gonna need therapy or surgery, but it's so bad that it can't wait till I drop another 70-80lbs, i can't seem to sleep more than 6 hrs a night then I'm wide awake, gonna wait for goal weight for a new sleep study on that too.
Starting to get up and do stuff with the family more rathe than sitting on the couch. Libido is coming back just a little.
Not a bad start, 43days & I've lost about 1/3 of the weight I intend to, already seeing huge improvements
It's a good idea to write down everything that your weight keeps you from doing or makes a lot harder, also make a list of things you want to do when you lose your weight.
Write down what scares you about the surgery, then be honest with yourself about your fears.
My biggest fear was "what if I die in surgery". My answer was really that's something I've never heard of happening. The only people I've heard of the passed after sleeve are people that went out and abused their sleeve (I mean really bad). Plus if I didn't get the surgery, what kind of life did I really have anyhow, & how long was I gonna keep it? Really, I didn't have a life & life expectancy was getting shorter every year.
I hope this helps, at least a little.
