  1. Yes,and no No you don't need to increase calories to stay out of starvation. But you will want to increase your Protein to reap the benifits of your work. This will by default increase your caloric intake. Also if you ate doing endurance type exercise you'll need the extra carbs to sustain your energy. I'd suggest talking to some of our resident bikers & runners on the endurance stuff.
  2. I'd really like to encourage you to get some marriage counciling to help strengthen your relationship before your surgery. Both you & your husband need go into this with your eyes wide open. I completely understand the dynamic of putting your spouse through hell because you resent yourself. I've done it to my wife for years. The unfortunate fact is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. He needs to see the end game before the play starts. You both need to understand that after surgery your body is going to go crazy. You are going to become more emotional and testy than you are currently. As you burn off the fat, it's going to dump all that stored estrogen into your bloodstream, Don't let this be a surprise. Us guys are pretty good at dealing with stuff when we know it's coming. Now that I've put this all down in writing I think I need to thank my wife for putting up with all my crap for so long.
  3. ONLY? You lost 10lbs in one week. That's 1.5lbs per day. That's 1oz every hour. That doesn't quite qualify as an "ONLY" weight loss. I think what you meant to say is- HOLY COW!! I lost 10lbs in only 1week!! You are doing great. 10lbs in a week is outstanding. Keep it up, you'll be at goal before you know it.
  4. Hey Kim, I was a fast loser too. I lost 34lbs in my first 4 weeks, 85lbs in 15weeks. I didn't have a stall at all till my 16th week. Unfortunately when my stall showed up it was a big one. So far I've been stalled 7 weeks. It will come to an end & I will start dropping again, but when, I don't know. I'm not trying to curse you here, just trying to keep you from getting discouraged when/if the big one hits.
  5. WOW!! That is a mountain. You don't think you might be over doing it?
  6. Great story, I wonder why nobody has replied to it. Also kinda interesting that it is 1 year old today.
  7. I don't know about Costco, I don't have one near me, but from my understanding they are very similar to Sam's Club. My experience with club stores is they are a great place to buy premium products in bulk at discounted prices. However they are definitely not the least expensive place to shop as they don't offer lesser options.
  8. Don't you know the best way to get a guy to do something is to tell us not to?
  9. IMO, how natural an implant does or doesn't look or feel has more to do with the implant design itself than it's size. The gummi/teardrop looks real in almost any size.
  10. Since you are just over a week out I'm wondering what you mean by eating a lot. Most of us are on liquids for anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
  11. There a little secret..... Almost everybody slips up on their pre-op diet. It is HARD. The trick is to learn & get stronger. Soon you will look at that pizza and wonder why anybody would poison their bodies with that kind of garbage.
  12. What I actually do is buy disposible deli containers. I get mine from websturaunt.com. I really like doing it this way because I can proportion everything and can grab & go. I have 1oz, 2oz, 4oz, 8oz, & 32oz containers Also if I can buy pre portioned I try to do that.
  13. I had my first drink @ 6weeks. No problems, but it did hit me a lot harder.
  14. 1. God, is that you? No? Then what makes you think that you know what anybodies motivations are for this surgery. 2. Please refrain from making completely false statements. I've never heard of anybody losing their stomach due to a tummy tuck or a boob job. Neither have I heard of anybody losing their life from complications in cosmetic surgery.
  15. Stop the Protein. Atleast for a day or two. Priority 1 is always hydration. What are you doing for protein? Also I'd recommend getting some Pedialite if you are already dehydrated to the point that you feel it physically. You are only 2.5weeks out. Almost all your protein should be liquid at this point.
  16. Gotta be the old iOS. I know a 3GS won't go past 4.1.2 if I remember correctly a 3G is stuck at 3.1.3.
  17. I grew up in El Paso. Spent tons of time in Juarez. Turn off your international roaming & you will pick up US towers still.
