  1. All the same I think I would see if I could arrange to pay an extra months premium and retain current coverage till surgery is done.
  2. You kill me!!! The best thing is, if loose skin really becomes a major problem, we are all experts on how to fill it back up.
  3. I use to. And soon you will be able to say the same.
  4. You can't compare yourself to others, especially taller/ heavier people. Let's look at your situation. You are 4'11" Your SW was 191lb Your CW is 176lb A normal BMI starts at 124 for you. You had 67lbs of excess body weight the day of your surgery. In 1 month you have lost 22.3% of your excess body weight. I personally think that is great!! Don't think pounds. Think percentages.
  5. Your not done. Keep doing what you are supposed to do. I just broke a 6.5week stall and have lost 7lbs in 4 or 5 days.
  6. Whoooooo Hoooooooo!!!!!!! Tomorrow marks 5 months for me. I'm officially in Onderland in under 5 months!!!!
  7. Like MM said all liquids count except alcohol & possibly caffienated drinks
  8. Ever had gout? They might be talking to you before you think.
  9. Along with all the great advice already given, I'd like to add, make sure you are well hydrated. Stop softeners & fiber need Water to work properly. If you are not fully hydrated your body will try to retain all the water it can. I'm sure you can figure out what affect this will have on your BM.
  10. I never let that happen. I did have a few non-productive trips to the restroom, never trust a fart
  11. I think your doing fine. You how us guys always overestimate measurements.
  12. There were 2 major factors in determining my goal weight. 1. When I was my healthiest I wast 155lbs. This was my walking around weight when I was very active & wrestling. 2. More coincidentally 155 also is 25.0BMI for me this is the highest weight in the normal category. I am 5'6" normal ranges from 112-155.
  13. Not really. It's really hard for us to get to a level that is "too much".
  14. I guess that depends on how you define "complete protein". Yes, soy does contain all essential amino acids, and with a normal diet our bodies can produce any of the others soy does not contain. But we are not consuming a full diet so for our purposes I highly recommend using a protein that contains all of the amino acids that your body uses. The best being Whey, another great option (and vegan) is hemp, there are also vegetable protein blends available. This doesn't even address the issue of excessive estrogen.
  15. Soy is an incomplete protein. It's fine as part of your protein regiment but I can't recommend it as a primary protien source.
  16. If you let them soak & swell before consuming they are fine in mushy phase. If not I'd wait till I was 6 weeks post op.
  17. This is a Meal Replacement, not a Protein shake. In order to meet your protein requirements with these you'll be consuming WAY too many carbs & calories.
  18. I added chia seeds & ground flax seed to my morning & evening protein shakes.
