  1. Unfortunately I don't eat anything fried anymore.
  2. I'd place it firmly in the "acceptable" category. Disclaimer: not for the lactose intolerant.
  3. Hmmm, if you don't eat it, you don't have to record it.
  4. Get some chia seeds, add 2tblsp to each of your Protein drinks. Stay well hydrated. Welcome to "The Cult of Chia".
  5. .6 for most people. .8 for an active lifestyle.
  6. This isn't even a stall yet. A stall is defined as 3weeks without a downward movement in weight. Surgery on the 7th List 14lbs by the 14th Now on the 21st your weight is the same as it was on the 14th? Chances are you are retaining Water. All the fat you've lost has bombarded your system with estrogen. Your body is unsure what's going on. Just keep following the "plan". Everything will be fine.
  7. I'll never recommend them, but I am guilty of occasional use.
  8. Umm, Isopure is whey protein.
  9. Yes, Chike has plenty of lactose left in it.
  10. Water passes through the stomach & past the pyloric valve almost instantly. I'm 7months post op & can drink 24oz in about a minute. If ou are under 6 weeks post-op take it easy though as tge staple line isn't fully healed yet.
  11. I can tell you why it makes me sad. Because I care about people. I know what kind of damage I caused myself & how much of my life I missed due to that kind of garbage. All I can think of when I see people shoveling trash into their face is the pain it caused me & how unnecessary it all was.
  12. Hmmm maybe I should become a MFP troll.
  13. You missed a word;).It's based on your LEAN body mass. Find out what your weight would be if your BMI was 20-22 and use that weight I'm betting it will give you a number between 60 & 90
  14. The amount of Protein you need is based upon your lean body weight. # of lbs X .6 or.8 = daily required protein grams If you get creative, it really isn't hard to get all your protein once your stomachs swelling goes down.
  15. I've always said, if you want to feel better abou yourself, go to the fair & look around.
  16. Wieder? The weight manufacturer? Hmm, I'm not familiar with a protien supplement from them. I wonder if it's one of heir weight gainers. Well, either way, don't panic, there are tons of options out there. Give me an idea what you do like, and what restrictions you might have. I'll see if I can help you find something.
  17. I've heard this before, but it seems counterintuitive. I was told to do deep breathing exercises after surgery, the CPAP in essence does just that while you sleep.
