I did enforce my will! I slept in til 9 am this morning and did not even hear him get dressed and leave at 6 am.
Needless to say, he decided to take a shower after dinner and was ready like an energizer bunny. I think he must have decided not to wait til he "was tired"

My husband and I have complete opposite schedules. He is a complete morning person, and I am a complete night owl.
This screws up our sex lives because he loves to wake me up way too early to get it on. I love sex and I'm ready for it most of the time. I tried to get something going this evening, and he was "too tired" so I got a little miffed, and thought "why should he always get his way?" So I told him not to wake me up in the morning.
I am wondering ( now it's past 1 am and I don't even feel like heading to bed) if he's really going to be able to not wake me up. I know how long he can go in between I want quality, damn it! I am not going for a little quickie in the morning this time. evil grin....

Eager12, it's great to see other North Mississippians on here. I see Dr Pinson @ NMMC Bariatric Center in Tupelo. I still have a few more months of pre-op insurance requirements to go. Plan to be sleeved Oct 23rd.
BTW, looking forward to seeing my Ms Kitty too!

Lol!!! I'm 15 weeks post op, down 70 lbs...and yes, Miss Kitty has reappeared! Lol! I can't wait to have my Tummy Tuck next year to smooth my tummy completely! Fortunately, my gut has shrunk in proportion with my weight loss. Yay!

I haven't had my surgery yet but I have lost weight and hit stalls and the key to unlocking your stall is to shock your body and do something new, instead of eating 3 meals a day eat five small ones, Breakfast, small snack, lunch, small snack, dinner and nothing after 6. Pump up the fluids (water). Change your workouts, when speedwalking no longer was doing the job my trainer shocked my body by speedwalking for 30sec then jogging a minute, then stop lay down and do 25 sit up and restart the cycle for 1 hour. Out bodies adapt quickly so when you see its no longer responding to what has worked in the past its time to change it up. Interval workouts are the greatest for that continued drop on the scale. All the best to you all.

LouiseC you are so right! I've never really thought about it this way AND this attitude/behavior pertains to other successes one has in their lives. Truly eye opening moment for me.

Wow, I can't believe so many have dealt with such "friends" its a shame. My sister had the surgery last year and has lost about 120lbs since then and I couldn't imagine behaving that way towards her. Her success is making it difficult for me to make it through my six months lol. I just wanna be sleeved already.

Hey Kayte - I worry about this with my husband but it's funny. As big as I am, I have smaller boobs (barely a D cup) and definitely suffer from noassatall. I'm hoping and praying that slimming down and exercising will give me some curves. Anyway, I know I don't want to get too thin because he just doesn't like really thin girls...everyone has their preferences. I would say, just make the most of whatever you have left. Show him what the thinner body can do that the "thicker" one could. The different clothes you'll be able to wear...things like that.
Reading this board and looking through before/after pics, it seems that most of the women kept their overall body shape. If you start off curvy, you'll likely stay curvy but just with smaller proportions. I'm a square, so I need to make some curves! LOL
And a bit of a tangent, this whole "I'm thick" movement has done us a bit of a disservice if you ask me as far as health. Many of us passed up "thick" many, many pounds ago (myself included!!). LOL It's great to have fabulous self-esteem no matter your size, I admire women like that...but we have to be honest with ourselves that our health is in danger.
