Do any of you ever have to take steroids and if so does it effect your lapband?

I hate to sound rude but 25 years or not, if you bettering yourself is a reason for her to not support you perhaps you should question your friendship.! -

Did anyone have a problem with pop/soda?
MsDuran replied to leannel90's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I drink diet all the time, I just have to pour it in a glass and wait for it to fizz out a little. Don't get caught up in what everyone else's dr told them..! Your body and limitations are unique! Do what works for you and advised by your surgeon! Good luck.! -
Well... It's been a year since I took the leap and got the lapband! I would do it all again tomorrow ! I must say a year out and I am JUST getting the hang of this new life I have to live now.! I'm down 62 pounds and according to my bmi and my dr I'm no longer morbidly obese or even obese.. Just simply overweight.. 52 more pounds to go but I've got this! Life is good....!!!

If your throwing up "chunks" of food, your obviously not chewing enough. I've had the lapband a year this month and trust me, we tend to get comfortable and the lapband has a way of reminding us very quickly exactly what the rules are..! Good luck

I am not worried about over eating at all, my band just won't allow for it. I'm just anxious because its so different for me now, I'm not worried, just wondering about all the taste testing needed to cook... Guess ill have to rely on my husband , he won't mind..

I'm a little anxious for some reason. I have been banded for about 7 months now, I still struggle on occasion but I have not gained and have lost 50 lbs now.

Yeah, but it was tomato soup.. Still made me nauseas . I'm better today!! I hope you are too!
