  1. Yaah! I know your glad that's over. Sounds like your doing well. You'll rest better at home. Take it one day at a time, oh, and welcome to the losers club!
  2. I was sleeping on my side by night 3..But, everyone's different.
  3. LOL, now, that is crazy! Maybe you should keep Protein bars in your purse, for when you have a break.
  4. Wow! What a difference. Your rocking that sleeve!
  5. I've been working the midnight shift for 9 years now. I'm off three days a week and on my off days I convert back to dayshift. "Crazy, I know". I keep a food journal, it helps to keep up with my input of protein and calories. Midnight is a new day to begin logging. I don't obsess if I have too many or too few calories in a days time. It's the curse of the shift worker.
  6. I was told B12 shots will help with hair loss. I've had two and it really gives me energy.
  7. Welcome! Lots of good info and support here. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow!
  8. Not seeing a before picture, but your gorgeous now!
  9. Work nights, so I slept through lunch, but for dinner I had two pieces of sushi and 1/4 cup of hot and sour soup..14 grams protein and 250 calories = Yummy!
  10. Just think, after today, you'll be a part of the losers club!
  11. I wore my bra in, and wore it out...No problems!
  12. Wow! You can't have a testimony without the test. I'd say you have the t-shirt on that. Prayers for a complete healing coming your way!
  13. Have faith, your going to be fine. Prayers and hugs from the midsouth!
  14. Good job! I look at rolls and bread and drool a little, but passing, because bread doesn't sit well with my sleeve. There are a are a few things like cookies and fries that I wont try, they are my trigger foods and it's best to leave them alone!
  15. Wow! You are truly blessed to work for someone who cares.
  16. Yes, it's true. 9 weeks post op and can only eat 1/2 cup or so at a time.
  17. Life and more abundant....Keep the faith!
  18. Awesome! My post op diet was two weeks liquids, two weeks mushies, then all solids. I was so happy to see food. It's tough, not going to lie. I remember at week two, my hubbie brought home a B-B-Q chicken wing and i actually licked it to death.. LOL, that was pretty low for me!
  19. Your doing well. You feel good. Don't worry about problems that aren't there. Enjoy, and work that sleeve!
  20. Had my surgery in Cancun. No complications. I was wondering the same thing.
  21. If you can't get in the Protein in the first two weeks, don't worry about it. Just get in the recommended fluids for now. I'm 9 weeks post op and still have problems getting in my daily protein. My Doc advised B12 shots for hair loss, and it's working for me. Hope you get to feeling better!
  22. My drain was removed 48 hrs after surgery, and before leaving the hospital. I wonder why some Doctors send patients home with them?
