1. You made me laugh out loud, very good with words! Now I want to read all of your previous post.
2. LMAO that was hilarious! congrats!
3. Usually it is six weeks before you get clearance to do anything other than walking. You should still be able to contact your DR in Mexico....my friend did.
4. No...I had surgery 5/25 and I started within the week....unfortunately we are limited to what we can do....I walk an hour every day
5. It is B12 in a nasal spray....it is stronger dosage than the pills/capsules. I have Vitamin B12 deficiency so I don't absorb well orally...but it is great for VSG patients.
6. Why did you wait so long to start? My Surgeon & NUT recommended daily vitamins from the moment I got home as well as Vitamin B12 (I do the nasal spray once a week)
7. Absolutely perfect, no lining needed....I sprayed a little bit of Pam on it
8. YUM let me know how it goes!
9. My first SIP wasn't painful just nasty! It was that ink for the upper GI test. I had the drain while in hospital, they removed it before discharge. Went back to work a week later, two week anniversary today and feeling great! Follow the plan and WALK...it gets better
10. I am terrified of this, I have PCOS and i experienced hair loss and hair thinning already which will not be reversed
11. Super Excited I had my first "meal" this morning (small curd FF cottage cheese with SF strawberry preserve) I chewed and chewed, took 20 mins to eat it and it went down without a glitch. My Sleeve approves and so does my taste buds For tonight, having my yummy revised Eggface Ricotta Bake (with FF ricotta seasoned with oregano/salt/pepper/onion&garlic powder and cayenne pepper/parmesan cheese) topped with marinara & mozz... Loving my new way of eating !
12. Share some Lol....this,was my first dish...best of luck with surgery
13. I love to cook, was going crazy not being able to lol. How far along are you?
14. Just made my version of Eggface's Ricotta Bake. I used fat Free ricotta instead of the full fat and seasoned it before adding the egg with oregano, salt, pepper, onion/garlic powder and cayenne pepper....one word, YUM
15. Hang in there, it gets better! I was sleeved on May 25 th and exactly a week after surgery I returned to work. I was off pain meds three days after getting home. Other than some soreness and the heartburn I feel completely normal...actually better than I did before.
16. Thanks guys, I love the support in this place...always sets my mind at ease. Happy losing!
17. Great tip with the yellow cheeses, thanks Can't wait to go back to store and get some real cheese Lol
18. Melted plastic is exactly what it reminds me of! I'm going for the low Fat to snack and regular to melt...I only consume a very small amount melted so the taste would help
19. My starring weight day of surgery was 204.5, I am following the diet, drinking my fluids, my Proteins and walking everyday... I thought the first month was when you experience the fastest weight loss... Don't get me wrong I'm still happy to be in Onederland but I'm a bit concerned about how slow it is going. Anyone with similar starting weight out there? How is is going for you?
20. I went to try melted cheese for the first tome today, purchased the fat Free mozz and cheddar....nothing cheezy about it, didn't even melt properly. What are you guys using?
