  1.    wannabethin2012 reacted to a post in a topic: One Day Out - Burp It Out
  2. My doc told me not to lie flat until most of the gas was released so I slept (or tried) in a chair for the 1st 4 days, somewhat upright and I also used a heating pad, which helped me
  3. I haven't received my first fill yet and I am not feeling full ever. I am liquids/mushies and I have to make myself stop eating because nothing is telling me that I am full. I can't wait for there to be restriction, it's what I paid for!
  4. Im currently on day 7 and I didn't really turn a corner until day 4. The first 3 days are the worst. It also hurt when I breathed but I mad it a point to take 6-10 long slow deep breaths every hour. My doctor gave me a spirometer to breathe into. I wouldn't worry about throwing up the one time, could have been the pain meds or the pain itself. Just hang in there, the next couple of days will be so much better, I promise!
  5. Wow, you lost 237 pounds, that is amazing! Could you share exactly what your day consists of as far as foods and exercise, I too want to be as successful as you
  6. You can also edit by clicking your username on the top then the edit profile button on the right side of the screen
  7. Make sure that you are eating protein 60-70g a day. Also take a vitamin called biotin...its for hair growth. It should slow down and eventually stop the loss. Also once you get to your goal weight and are just maintaining it should stop too. Congrats on the awesome weight loss!!!
  8. What do you mean the incisions opened two of them? I had my Surgery June 18th as well and my Doctor only waits 3 weeks to do a fill...but he also said if I ever wake up one morning and feel starved like I could eat a house then its time for the fill
  9. I am day 6 and I went from thinned soups to creamy today...I am having the opposite problem...constipation...I have tried to live without the pain meds and that is helping
  10. I was told I could shower after 24 hours and remove water proof bandages on day 3
  11. The pain medicine can also cause shortness of breath, I would rather be pain free tho...I am on day 5 and I am almost completely back to normal...The first few days suck but its worth it!
  12. Day 3 for me and I have seen better days...Shoulder pain and lump in my throat are the worst
  13. Im on my 3rd day...and I feel A LOT better today than yesterday...The gas pain really did me in...Still have some bubbles lurking around but day two was rough for me too.
  14. I had surgery yesterday morning and I was so excited the night before I didn't get one minute of sleep. Now post op, My Dr. said do not lie flat until all gas pains are gone. So now I can't get comfortable enough to sleep. I've dozed here and there but nothing significant and I need help. Is there any sleeping positions you used to relieve gas pressure and get a good nights rest?
  15. congrats! im going through true results to have my surgery in june, hope my results are just as good! keep it up!
  16. I also am going through True Results Hurst...My surgery isn't until June but they put me with Dr. Marsden and I have had a consult with him...so far so good! I had to have the scope for the hernia to take care of some of the funds since my insurance isn't paying and dr. Snow (true results) performed that. His bedside manner is top notch. So excited 6 weeks cant go by fast enough!
