Its called gastric plication , its a fairly new procedure, you can google it.....

Plication is like the sleeve, besides stapling the stomach and cutting it out, they tucked it inside it self and stitch it which makes the stomach between 50 and 75% smaller, it works together with the band for more weight loss, plus it keeps the band from slipping....my band is deflated, the plication along is working great for my weight loss, i can't eat much food at all! Im glad I done it!

I had bad with plication on 6-13-12, i dont no what happened but I'm afraid to eat anything! I had a half of piece of garlic bread last nite and it felt like it got stuck, maybe i ate it to fast, all i no is that i had pain and it came back up! I had not had a filling yet, so i didnt think i had any restrictions yet? So why did this happen to me? Any one have any idea?

I had band with plication on 6/13/12, I've. Went from 255 to 226, they only problem that i have had is extreme nausea, not often, mostly waking me up at night, could it be something I've ate?

I fell as my marriage will get better once i lose a lot of weight, I was 255...three weeks post now im down to 230, i just got to the point of not even sleeping in the same bed, i don't feel sexy anymore, we have been together 15 yrs, i was 150 lbs when we meet, then sex was great, then over the years it has declined down to a couple of times a year! And it's not him its me, so i had the surgery to get healthy plus get my marriage back on track...I just want to feel sexy again!

Mine is very visible! When i walk its as big as a golf ball....i asked my dr she said that it was my port? I'm wondering why is it that close to the skin?

I'm in pain! I bumped into my counter and hit just below the port, I'm 13 days post, it's so sore to the touch....has anyone else did this?

congrats! Me too! My ring is following off my finger, i have to go get it resized, everyone is calling me skinny legs, cause i don't have any edema....that ive had so bad that i couldn't even wear regular shoes! Im zo excited that i can wear my teenage daughters shoes!
