Nerves???? would be for me

Diarrhea is common after lapband becuase your diet has drastically changed. You need seed some bulk in your diet so add some benefiber to your regimen and you will notice a huge difference. This worked wonders for me.

I had band with plication, this morning i feel weak, and have alot of water- like diarrhea! Help!!!!

I had a plication one week ago also and am experiencing the same. I am still on liquids. I applied the BRAT (bananas, rice, apple, tea) diet witout the rice. I make banana smoothies, and have been drinking ice tea and apple jiuce for liquids. It has slowed down tremendously.

Oh so glad to find this thread!!! I am hurting banded a week ago and exhausted from the diarrhea. I need help:(

Well I had constipation immediately after surgery which then rebounded into diarrhea while on the full liquid diet. I agree that you definitely have to bulk it up with some benefiber...plus when you move onto mushies it gets much better!!! GL!!
