  1. I have one solitary packet if you want it. Inbox me here I will give you my address and I can give it to you free.
  2. I got Garnier Fructis Fall fight. Pretty inexpensive compared to other prices I saw out there. I made sure I had plenty of protein too. My Doctor said it was because of the huge drop of Calories to my system that caused the hair loss. But the body adjusts after 4 months . I got a new short hair cut but it is still thinner than before I had surgery. With my thinner bod, I cannot complain too much!
  3. My Hair is growing back. I no longer see my scalp. I did try Biotin shampoo.
  4. The Gas you get if you do not chew will change you fast. It is surprising how much I do chew now. I fuss at my kids now because they inhale thier food and I never noticed it before. I must have done it too. It's a good change!
  5. me too. I cry seeing my hair clog the drain during showers. I want to know if it grows back. Can anyone tell me? Maybe a person a year or so out?
  6. On Pandora I like Latin workout. I makes me motivated to move.
  7. I am going to try that idea. Cucumber and mint water sounds so good. I also do 1teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 tsp splenda to give it a lemonaide flavor.

Talked to my Physical Therapist and she said the ones with a hole for the knee is best. I have a meniscus tear from exercise.
  9. I second that trader joes hot dogs. I also know you can get good healthy HD at health foods stores or co-ops but they are expensive and go bad fast so best to keep them frozen until use.
  10. i do know physical therapy will help. I had Plantars F 2 years ago and toe streaches really helped me the pediatrist gave me. I do them in bed laying down at night, flexing and curling, back and forth. Also rolling a tennis ball or can on the ground with your foot while sitting helps too. Online I think they have posted exercises for heel injury streaching exercises. best of luck! it toook me 9 months to get over the injury.

oh my I am glad I'm not alone. I never had knee problems until after sleeve surgery. I get down because I feel I could walk longer if it wasn't for the pain.
  12. I know that carbonation is linked to cancer and bone growth problems. I only let my kids drink one a week. I quit all together. It was hard but now I hate the stuff if I have even just a sip. It makes sense that it is also linked to obesity. The carbonation fills stomachs with gases that are not natural and cause flatualence. I used to get diarrea if I drank more than two a day. Its just bad stuff.
  13. You can add Chia seeds to green protien smoothies and it gives it a really fresh good taste.
  14. i hate the way protein powder tastes now after surgery. Before I never had a problem. And i took a sip of diet coke and had to spit it out. Ew I can't believe I used to drink that every day.
  15. I got the best set for the price at Ikea.
  16. compared to what is what I ask myself. I get down in the dumps when I hear someone lost more weight than me. So I have to remind myself that before it took me over a year to lose 10 lbs. 50 is still a celebration. Its a journey!

I set my goal on how much weigh to lose short term until I set a new goal. Making a huge goal is too disheartening for me. My NUT told me setting smaller golas makes you feel accomplished compared to a huge one. I set 3 small goals.I first wanted to get to 200. Then I want to get to 180. After that I will set a goal with my Doctor's advice because I know I can get smaller than 180. Best of luck!
  18. I hear that. I feel guilty when I go over my allowance of sugar and carb intake for the day. I try and keep track daily and noticed I over eat carbs and sugar. It stresses me out which make me want to eat more. A never ending struggle for me and probably why I needed surgery in the first place. I want to see if eating more fruits will help. I started eating a fruit when I craves sweets. I figure all the fiber will help me out anyway. I have had a good steady weight loss and have only stalled once or twice for a week. I usually combine the friut with a handfull of nuts to get that "munchies" saitety. I know after having surgery i am a straight up addict to foods.

I have had this problem too. I am checking in with my Doctor this Friday.
  20. I think popcorn is a healthy choice of slider food. I have slid worse than popcorn.
  21. awesome! that is my goal too. That really is great.
  22. I was just going to suggest lemon juice and splenda but someone had the same great idea. I pack Instant decafe Iced tea crystals too. With the splenda and lemon it is quite tasty.
  23. my best friend was thin but she was really scared to lose me to surgery. She kept asking questions too. I think its more out of live and concern the negative comments. My other best friend is my husband who didn't like that I was having surgery but once I decide to do something I do it. He has changed his heart and mind about it and sees how good it has been for the whole family. He has lost weight with me without the surgery because I changed. Instead of resturant eating we now go for walks in the park. I think your friend my be insecure but having confidence to stick with something good for you hopefully she will see the posative in your decision. Nothing that changes anf grows in nature dies that is the same with relationships.
