Yeah, they crisp up well with a little non stick spray. It's a different crisp than the oven I find...a little chewy. I like the difference in textures. Try it out! Only takes about 3 mins in a pan.- Buffalo Chicken Bites + Chicken Enchilada Bites
Mini. I'm 6 weeks out and one "bite" from the mini muffin pan is perfect- Wonton Tuna Melts

Yes!!- July 4Th Challenge
Left for a camping trip on June 20 and was at 226. Came back on June 27 and...drum roll please...219.7!! Today I was at 219.1. GOAL MET!!!! A full week early. That's over 30 lbs down from surgery in 5.5 weeks. So excited/surprised/amazed. A bit unexpected, and knowing things have got to slow down big time soon, but today I'll revel in it Rather than revise for July 4, I've now just got my eye on getting under 200 to onederland. I blogged about my 5.5 week update as well as pics of my face pre and post surgery on my blog at http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com- Lasagna Cupcakes!
general grocery store. Mull around the fridge case where the tofu is. Emilybites usually does two layers of wonton wrappers in a regular muffin tin. I use one in a mini-muffin tin and portion size is perfect for me.- Buffalo Chicken Bites + Chicken Enchilada Bites
Awesome! I took some camping last weekend and they were quite the hit amongst non-sleevers, so that was a good sign! Gave the recipe to a few folks. Going to try doing ones with ham and laughing cow swiss here soon.- Oatmeal-Crust Pizza
Cool, thanks. I made the cheesy cauliflower bake from eggface a couple weeks ago (you can see my blog post at http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/06/cauliflower-bake.html) and it was definitely interesting to use. I'll have to try the cauliflower version. I've been needing some carbs, so this was one way to get them - but will obviously need to watch it.- Ricotta Bake???
Yeah, not really like pizza. But if you're interested in a recipe for that, I just posted one in the recipe forum - and you can find more (recipe, photos, NUT info) on my blog at http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/06/oatmeal-pizzas.html- I Did It The Baked Ricotta!
Great job! I'd done it in a mini-loaf pan a while back and it was sooo tasty...even for those who aren't on a limited diet! You can read more about my mini-loaf pan experience on my blog at http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/06/baked-ricotta.html- Oatmeal-Crust Pizza
Hi all! A friend and I experimented with making pizza dough out of oats/oatmeal that we ground. Came out quite yummy. I've been needing to add some carbs here and there for energy, and was pleased with these. 9g of carbs in the mini pizzas I made (photo below) but, frankly, I can only eat a half in one sitting. Recipe, photos, and nutritional info available on my blog post at http://gastricsleeve...eal-pizzas.html- Will I Ever Be Able To....

Inspired by emilybites.com but only four weeks out. So, I've been going for meals with limited ingredients while I test out me new sleeve. Needed a way to spice up my can of refried Beans so made a couple mini cupcakes. Sleevie seems to be okay after one...next time will add a little taco meat. Yum! Recipe info on my blog here: http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/06/refried-bean-cupcakes.html- 8 Weeks Out - Slow Scale Movement!
Your weight loss seems really normal for your starting weight!! Right on track. I scoured the boards and vlogs before my surgery to try to set some expectations. I also started at 250. For that weight (and my height... 5'7") it seemed highly typical to go 20-25lbs the first month then 10 ls a month thereafter (until somewhere around month 6-12 where things became harder). Everyone is totally different, and this is obviously anecdotal, but again and again it was what I was seeing (certainly with outliers!) I'd love to hit 50 lbs maybe 4-5 months in. The higher the weight, the faster it comes off, so don't dismay! I'm not immune to comparing (obviously) but never do it unless it's someone with a similar starting weight and height. Good luck!- Crystal Light Margarita Addiction
