I Feel Like I Can Eat Too Much Sometimes.
Hey there! Are you tracking your food intake anywhere so you can see calories, fat, carbs, and protein? May help you put it in perspective to know what it's all adding up to at the end of the day? But, your weight loss sounds great! I'm hoping to average around 10 lbs a month early on (I'm 3 weeks on)...and hoping to do as well as you have!

Did Anyone Schedule Without A Coordinator? Is It Necessary?
Dr Aceves doesn't use a coordinator either. You'll just deal with Nina who works for him.

My Sleeve Story 1-9-12
- Buffalo Chicken Bites + Chicken Enchilada Bites
Hey there - just a few weeks post-op and today was inspired by Emily Bites Buffalo chicken Cupcakes (but not ready for wonton wrappers) and Eggface's famous bites (but, alas, no buffalo chicken recipe). I was craving buffalo chicken, and mexican food, so decided to make my own in two "flavors"; buffalo chicken and chicken enchilada to use up a can of chicken I'd bought at Trade Joe's. They were sooooo yummy! Posted recipe and pics on my blog if anyone's interested.- Sugar Free Yogurt
I've taken to adding torani sugar free syrup to fage and it tastes like fruit yogurt- My Sleeve Story 1-9-12
Hi ladies! Have you thought about therapy at all? It's totally not for everyone. I've used it in the past when life's kicked my ass, and with surgery I went back in anticipating some food grieving. For me, I recognize food's importance in my life and the hold it has one me (e.g., its ability to comfort me)...for me, I equally recognize that's unhealthy. I had a bit of a rough childhood with a mom who struggles with mental illness, and I can recall being like 11 and using food to cope with the stress of it. Fast forward to today and food still can play that unhealthy role in my life. Therapy is a way for me to explore that, and try to let some of it go...and find other, healthier, ways to cope. None of this may apply to you at all, but may be worth asking why food is so important to you, and why you might be using it for things beyond nutrition, and a therpist could help explore that. If that all sounds like rubbish, feel free to ignore! Just my personal story- May Sleeve Buddies!

Phenomenal. I used Dr Aceves. Definitely cheaper options, but wouldn't have changed my decision for anything. There is a forum on here for mexico soecifically, so you may want to check that out. I have some videos and blog posts about the experience if you're interested (look for ones around my may 21 surgery date)...gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com. But also happy to answer any ques if you want to post here or private message me.- Any New Jersey Gastric Sleevers?
Yes, it's private...no one can see details of the group unless they join. One thing I don't know is whether or not someone can see it from your meetup profile. That is, if they saw your profile on meetup.com, could they see that you're a member...I'll check on that- 4 Months Down... Time Is Going By Way Too Fast

Hi NJ sleevers! Had our first in person meetup this week in NJ. Unfortunately only myself and Rawrrashleex3 were able to make it...was nice to meet another sleever and chat about it! We'll be scheduling another one soon. If you're interested in being notified you can go to http://www.meetup.com/NJ-WLS-Support/. It's free to sign up for a meetup.com account and request to join the group. I've used meetup.com before, and it's a great easy way to post suggestions and details for meetups. We'll try to vary locations, and anyone can suggest a meetup event and location. Hope to meet you soon!- Super Saturday Weigh In

Sleeved may 21...SW 250, weight yesterday 230. Exciting! Was doing well on liquids. Now that I'm adding in mushy foods slowly finding I need a new routine around water. The waiting before and after to drink throws me off! But I'll get there less head hunger than that first week, so that's encouraging for now! - Buffalo Chicken Bites + Chicken Enchilada Bites
