  1. When did you start driving?
  2. It's been 1 wk today since my surgery. I walk around the house & I try it sit up. Should go walking outside and try and do more? Your thoughts?
  3. It is my largest incision and it hurts....not warm to touch.
  4. I have a cough to and it hurts terribly when I do cough.
  5. They gave me motion sicknesses patch.... I have it behind my ear.....it combats the nausea
  6. Is it Gas? You may need to take gas x or something. My Dr. Prescribed me Prilosec but it was like $60 bucks.... The Pharmacist recommended over the counter. All weekend the gas has moved through me like hurricane 5 lol
  7. Dorrie.... It is recommended not to drink through a straw....gives you gas
  8. I am very much bloated but taking something to relieve the gas
  9. It's not painful but awkward. I feel the liquids hit my stomach. They told me take deep breaths and that helps. I'm able to keep liquids down. It's the taste im struggling with...jello is now nasty to me....I had baby food bananas and it had a metal taste.

  11. My incision on my left side is hard 6 days since surgery. Is this normal???
  12. T is recommended to take small sips rather than gulps....is this going to be the way of life forever?
  13. I had to have a motion sickness sticker placed behind my ear to combat the nausea.
  14. I got the flinestone chewables + Iron & caltrate.
  15. I do have HBP and take meds...it spiked after surgery as well as my sugar. I'm not a diabetic but they gave me insulin shots to manage my sugar levels.
  16. 180 is my goal weight!!!! At the time of surgery I was 284.

  18. Did anyone removes their bandages all together OR applied fresh ones? I'm afraid my incisions will get an infection; I want to be safe than sorry.
  19. My surgery was 4-30 as well. I had he complications (vomitting, nausea, & etc.) the 3 days after surgery. I didn't get discharge until Thurs. but you can have grits with skim milk as long as it goes through the strainer. It does feel funny going dwn but compared to Mon. & Tues. this is a walk in the park.
  20. I had my surgery 4/30!!! It was ruff 1st few days due to high blood pressure & nausea. Finally discharged on 5/3.....Sore is all get out but exited about this new journey.
