Sleeved Yesterday

Hello everyone,

Well my surgery day has come and gone. I did get my sleeve yesterday. I was in a lot of pain yesterday which they controled with pain meds. Feeling pretty good today. Havent had any pain meds since 8 am. I am not able to drink and hold it down. It does not matter how small of sips I take it comes back up with a lot of foamy looking junk. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep water down. They are giving me anti-nausea medicine but that doesnt help either. So if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I am not sleeved yet, but my doctor told me that when I am recovering in hospital to try and stand as tall as I can and drink to help get it down so that I can moving along and discharged sooner. Not sure if it helps because I can't relate yet.

TRY THE POPSICLES! I was not able to swallow the liquid real well for the first 2 days (been 4 days now and all is fine). BUT, the popsicle went down and stayed down easily.
