  1. My doc has me on soft foods for a month. Cream of wheat, yogurt, soup, tuna salad, cottage cheese, etc.
  2. I'm also day 6 and back at work. let me tell you i am TIRED. I miss my afternoon diet coke before surgery to be honest (oh well). I also miss taking naps at home for the last week LOL. My pain isnt bad. just some port/ab muscle soreness and some soreness at my belly button (i had SILS). oevrall i am not eating much, but i am just enjoying the fact that Im not hungry because i know it will change. i have a follow up on Thursday with my doc.
  3. Could u be dehydrated? Have u been getting all ur fluids in?
  4. See if your doc can place a low profile port. Then it will be even less visible after you lose weight. Also, I got SILS (single incision surgery) which means 1 scar in my belly button, so no one will be able to see it! I had lapband with plication May 29.
  5. It does sound like gas, but if you're nervous, maybe call your doc first thing in the morning?
  6. I'm an post op day 5 and today is the first day I can drink more easily. Eating is still hard and I got full after 3 oz of cottage cheese.
  7. Good luck bama. It sounds like you're fine now. Totally true about old habits!
  8. It's rough. For me, I went to the movies to pass time. You can do it!
  9. Will the pouch shrink now that you've had the unfill and had to start over?
  10. I'm still not hungry (banded 5/29 too) but I think it's normal. I'm just trying to get all my liquids in. It's only been 4 days since surgery so I'm not worried. Did you eat when you got hungry? I'm sure you can only eat a small amount.
  11. I was banded May 29. I also have a mini goal of losing 20+ lbs by Aug 1. I'm following doc's instructions and keeping my fingers crossed!
  12. I was supposed to be outpatient, but then 2 weeks before surgery, my doc changed me to be overnight at the hospital. I am SO glad I stayed overnight. The meds were better and I felt better prepared to go home.
  13. It shouldn't hurt. I used a heating pad, but then I was sweating so I stopped lol
  14. i cant wait to sleep on my stomach...but i'm not rushing anything
  15. Why can't we take a laxative pill? Everyone suggests MoM or benefiber or other things, but not a regular laxative in pill form. I was just banded Tuesday, so I'm still new!
  16. Are you sure it's not gas? I was banded on Tuesday. I've been having a range of feelings. Sometimes I don't know if it's hunger or not.
