  2. Status update, went to the dr today all is well my pouch is back to what it should be no more heartburn and have started taking my time with eating again which is sometimes hard since I work an the emergency room. I've also went back to counting how many times I chew. Still trying to find a decent protein shake that keeps me feeling full...any suggestions? I'm pretty much starting from thw beginning again and will have my first fill in three weeks.
  3. So I've been having increased heartburn and all of a sudden had some stomach pain....went to the dr and I stretched my pouch:( so all fluid was removed to start all over again. I've been trying to watch the amount of in take and worried that my pouch hasn't reduced any. Follow up and fill on Tuesday
  4. Thank you all for your support and answers. I have successfully started eating although in all honesty I didn't miss eating at all! I feel full after so little. So far so good:smile2:
  5. I had surgery on March 29,2010. I was on full liquids for 3 weeks. I started getting hungry towards the end and was looking foward to eating. This is my first week of food and after having my first two bites of eggs I was full and realized that I didn't miss food. I am still doing protien shakes because I'm not getting enough protien in my diet. It is difficult at first because structure is the key. I'll eat and feel full so it's difficult at times to drink and started getting dehydrated. Good luck with everything.
  6. So I am three weeks post op and this is my last day of liquids!! I'm excited but nervous only because of the what if's of everything. I must say I do feel good but have to laugh because I have an eleven month old at home and feel like we are trying new foods together! I am worried that food might get stuck. I am just totally nervous of what life has to bring me being heavy my whole life and am not the social butterfly. So it's totally new to me I' scared and excited all at once!!
