  1. I'm 6 weeks out and I seem to stay around 60 or under. I was going to aim for 20 or under but that's REALLY hard. Somehow, I could eat less carbs pre sleeve on Atkins induction . Not sure what's going on. Anyway. I feel pretty good.
  2. I was driving the other day and thought my tall husband had lowered the seat. I kept pushing the button to raise it and have up because it wasn't working. Then a light bulb went off. My butt isnt as fat, which resulted in my being lower on the seat. Lol
  3. On phone. Lots of typos. I guess I'm fortunate in that I can eat almost anything. I focus mostly on meet and cheese, cheese and meat. Then eggs or eggbeaters. Today I might try cottage cheese again, but I find it quite boring. Here is what I ate yesterday. Portions are very small. I don't eat bread or pasta becaise 1) not a gold source of protein, 2) it just seems like a filler food to me and 3) it makes me crave more carbs and I don't need that. Not yet anyway. My goal is 600-800 calories 60+oz fluids 64g + protein Less than 60 carbs. That's not to say that Ieet those goals but that's my plan. I still don't get 64oz fluids and I don't think I've made the protein very often. I don't love protein drinks, I'd rather chew my calories and my protein, so I'm trying to get in a lot of that.
  4. I didn't think mine would because they were always the skinniest thing on me. I'm down only 29 lbs and already wearing the shoes that were too small and reserving my old favorites for workouts.
  5. The first 4 weeks are torture. Hypoglycemia, hormones changing rapidly, our lifeline being taken away. I'm 6 weeks now and I can confidently say that it gets better. For me it was 3 1/2 weeks out. A few days after figuring out "purées" it does get better and though while you're living in it it seems like forever, I look back at that time and chuckle at my pathetic self. Lol
  6. It was around week 3 for me. Maybe around 3 1/2 weeks? When the purée diet started.
  7. Uh. Why was he eavesdropping!?
  8. I posted four. They show up on my phone. Are they not working? I love this one too.
  9. My drain was taken out before I left the hospital. Ready4Achange
  10. Self pay. Another Mexico sleever here and very very happy with my choice. Dr. Fernando Garcia
  11. I did it too. McDonald's. had to throw up in the Walmart bathroom.
  12. It's ok. Have you read hyperboleandahalf, "why I'll never be a grown up"?
  13. Hehehe I like her newer one about how bad she's Ben eating.
  14. I've seen too many band to sleeve revisions on this site to recommend the band.
  15. I want to say that I totally think it may *have* been the bars. Those make me cravy.
  16. Burns my stomach. :/
  17. Also, I've been thinking about you to tonight (can't seep). My dh is 200 lbs. and I can't imagine carrying him around. I'm 198 and you lost more than I weigh. AMAZING!! And all in 11 months. You must FEEL so much better!!!!! I'm eating the hollirrose way for sure. Signed, number one fan. Ps- you are beautiful and your smile is the best!
  18. I'm 6 weeks out. 2 weeks ago I weighed and had lost 26 lbs. I haven't had an official weigh in again but did check a couple days ago and I'm sitting around the same. I dunno. It does make ya wonder. More calories? Less carbs? Is it becaise I started exercising? I'm hoping for a whoosh soon.
  19. You are my favorite pic poster!! I added you on mfp and can't wait to see what you're eating! Do you ever wish you'd lost slower? Perhaps the skin wouldn't be as bad. That's what they say anyway. Just wondering because I'm at the beginning of my journey and still trying to figure out what tactics I want to use. Low carb, up my calories, what.
  20. Can the online bMR tests be accurate? Mine said 1592 No way
  21. Actually I hadn't seen that on your mfp but that sounds dreally yummy. I don't know of you're against sweeteners, but I put nectresse in my PB2 mixed w almond milk and it was good. That was a preop "dessert". I'm not sure if I'm in ketosis for sure. I'm getting more carbs than I did on Atkins induction. I think a nana won't kill me. The banana cream pie yogurt sounds yummy. I'm 6 weeks in. I eat just about anything now. Laura. So daring.
  22. It doesn't help that I have a handful of them getting overripe on my table. Mmmmm bananas.
  23. Really, they are one of the healthiest foods out there and healthier (IMO) than most protein bars, but. I think I'm in ketosis an am striving to eat very low carb. I reeeeeally want a banana. I know I'm low on potassium, maybe I should just get a supplement?
