  1. The protein drinks? I know eventually ill be able to trade in shakes for protein bars. Was just curious as to others guidelines.
  2. How bad was yours? Any of you have before and after pictures you could share? Any tips on reducing loose skin on arms?
  3. Hummus and pita chips. just throwing this out there. Only a few more weeks and this will be on my to eat list.
  4. My surgeon told us that sleeve patients don't get dumping. Only gastric bypass patients to, but sleeve patients can symptoms that closely mimic dumping.
  5. Any one know a good program to tone up your legs and butt. I want to start now so that hopefully by time my weight is gone my butt especially will be nice and toned.. maybe a c shape. haha. What have you ladies done to help with this? I've heard of the butt bible, i think i might try this.
  6. And i acidentally swallowed a small piece of it. I'm three weeks out tomorrow and it doesn't really hurt but I'm a little freaked out. =\

  8. I'm only about two and a half weeks post op and i use a straw, not ask the time, but it causes no discomfort for me.

  13. How much protein were you told you had to get in?
  14. I heard mine for a while, i always feel my drinks still and I'm two weeks out.
  15. Every time you eat ( in the earlier stages like up to four weeks ) have you experienced more pain while eating when you are sitting down? I feel that i hurt worse while eating and sitting and the pain eases up if i stand and eat. Maybe we're putting pressure on our stomach while sitting? Am i alone? I'm two weeks out today.

  17. I think because it flushes food through. I drink before and after meals.. usually wait like 15 minutes not 30. My doctor said its not add important for us sleevers to follow this rule as it is the gastric bypass patents.
  18. Start having sex again post op?
  19. Any one try one post op? I am only two weeks out and don't plan to drink for a whillleeee, but that's my favorite drink and I'm curious as too if anyone has had them and how they settled.
  20. Today i am two weeks out. And as of right now, no i wouldn't do it again. It's been a b***h. Maybe in a few weeks I'll change my mind.

  22. Seems like every other time i have a "meal" my stomach hurts when i take a small bite or a few seconds after the bite. Tomorrow i will be two weeks out and can start pureed foods. So I'm on yogurt blended cottage cheese, Soup, Water.. you get it. Did it take anyone else a while before they stopped hurting during meals. I'm starting to think I'm never going to be able to eat without being in discomfort.

  24. Flintstones twice a day until 21 days post op, then i start regular woman's vitamins twice a day, calcium 1000 mg a day and b12 once a week.
