I have lost 82 pounds in a little over 8 months. I think I have generally had an easy time and lost consistently! My goal is to lose 100 pounds. In the beginning I didn't think that was attainable but now I can see it happening.

Sometimes I see how they gain a pound are two on here . One just the other day was 6 weeks out and eating a hamburger from Mc Donald's . Serious and you sitting on a weight lost Forum saying you ate a hamburger . I thought it was just me bc I paid cash for my surgery . There's no way I'm gonna mess my sleeve up and throw 10 grand away no no . Not worth it !

Almost 2 years out and I can't eat 2 tacos. One fills me up. I could eat the other one a couple hours later.

I don't necessarily regret mine but it was definitely talked up way more than it should have been. I was under the impression that 600 cal a day would keep me satisfied for like 6 months. Definitely not the case. I'm 7 weeks out and eat over 1000 cals a day and I'm always starving. I have to make myself not eat and deal with the starvation so I do keep losing. It's just like a freakin diet. 4,700 dollars for a diet. Apparently my stomach was ginormous before or they sure didn't cut out 85% and people that haven't had this issue are not understanding at all. I hope you get the best out of your sleeve and encounter zero problems.

Hello if you are cleaning out your closet and want to make cash & if you have a Facebook acct well you are in luck!! There are groups on there (plus size friendly) that you have to request to be a member of (totally private) then you can post your pictures of clothes on there and sell to make $$$. I have sold over $1500!! The names of the groups are Fattoo, plus size gallery, for fat sakes, Fattoo accesora. Only men are allowed in these groups... Sorry guys! Lol
It's kinda like eBay but without the fees!
    Happy selling and shopping!

This is very exciting, yet bittersweet! I am going to clean out my closet today! Meaning I will have maybe 3 outfits that fit. I know it's crazy but when I put on my pre surgery clothes and they are baggy every where I feel disgusting! I will not be spending alot I money on clothes until I reach my goal weight. Thank God summer is around the corner and I can live in summer dresses. But for now, this crap needs to go!

I was sleeved Feb 12th and stopped losing about 2 months ago. Started at 315lbs and got down to 205 and sat there for at least a month. Within the last month I have gained 10lbs back, I'm 215 now and last week started hitting the gym again daily but no change yet. I am also a non stop grazing on chips, crackers, pretzels, CARBS. I got so used to doing nothing and losing weight that I just stopped working out and eating the right things. I am almost back on track again. Just have to kick the carbs. Did any of you have any luck with boot camp??

I'm in the same exact boat, ddfinn. Sleeved on march 7, have lost 60, and stuck on 159. Up a pound, down a pound, for the last month. Starting boot camp tonight. I want to get to 140.

Weight loss does slow down the closer you get to goal. But your body is still redistributing your left over weight. Congrats on your success and keep it up!

I was in the same boat. I wasn't exercising at all but I am now at a point that it is not just falling off. I just kept looking for something to do that was fun I finally settled on Zumba and Just dance at home.

I'd like to piggyback on Delta. Write your goals down, make a big lofty goal, then break that big goal down into small manageable steps.
Put all the little steps in order like a time line.
Then track your accomplishments. <--- that part is imperative. You need to focus on what you've already accomplished and the next step. Don't focus on the end goal, you will get there, but the sense of accomplishment from the little ones will get you to the big one.
There is a question asked in the business world that applies here
    Q. Do you know how to eat an elephant?
    A. One bite at a time.

Go for a walk around the block. Just do something and make it a habit. Also, look at your eating and clean it up if you need to - log everything you eat (I use MyFitnessPal.com). You can keep going. It's all you and you can do it!

Just put one foot in front of the other and start walking, you know what to do or you wouldn't have lost 60 lbs. join the gym, once you start exercising and start feeling better it will get you motivated to get back on track. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress!
