  1. Wow I want my money back !!!! The title of the post was inner thighs , all I got was pimples, rhino rash, dark spots ect...I WAS ROBBED !!
  2. Enjoy. Remember low sodium soy!!!
  3. Tolerable probably, recommended ? If you are like most of us rice is very hard at 7 weeks. For me rice felt like swallowing thumbtacks untill about 4 months or so. I am almost 14 months out and still cannot eat a whole roll ( smallish) .
  4. Make an appt. speak directly to your dr let him know how difficult the records lady is and don't leave without your letter . Good luck !!
  5. Don't be discouraged, seems like you have a nice program "keep your hands to the plow". How is your hunger after work outs? - if it is strong try adding some complex carbs to your diet. 900 seems a bit low for all that swimming and life!
  6. Go to Lawrence hit burrito king at 130 am when it's busy and everything is fresh. We sleevers could eat 5 or 6 times off one . Even pre sleeve it was hard to finish one. Authentic tamales and chilies rolleno.
  7. My dr explained it as skeletal remodeling, the short of it is ,as weight comes off gravity pulls at us differently causing new muscles to engage to do common activities, for me standing straight up was hurting a lot ,after losing a lot of weight I thought my back would feel better right away, but it took some time and exercise.check Duexis ibuprofen coated with Pepcid, a sleevers dream med. Hope you feel better!!
  8. Btw I would suggest you learn how to spell a drugs name before using it!! COCAIN. E
  9. Go to the gym get on the eliptical hold your breath and go like hell right before you pass out you will feel like you did some x. See just saved 15 bucks!!
  10. In my humble opinion at 7weeks the suture line is the weak link ,that would tear before you stretched any remaining part of a correctly sleeved stomach. The fundus is the part that is removed that's the "stretchy"part. Sounds like dr is hustling you demand the leak test results and get a second opinion! Good luck
  11. I can see Clara mass from my house, I have Bcbs horizon I used dr Strom at mountianside I paid him 25.00 co pay and some copays for pre op clearance my total out of pocket was 150. He told me at initial consult I would not get another bill and if I did give it to him I never got another bill. My BMi was 36 with no comorbidity and was approved first try
  12. Ok sorry ,you asked! I just read the label didn't make you eat it or not, perhaps maybe your nut got this one wrong ! Pasta is pasta it's just my opinion that at 7weeks out we are better served learning about what complex carbs we like or can tolerate than how much we like pasta . As for moderation that came down the road ,I was very rigid with my diet before I hit goal .
  13. Wow !!! You said it all and I amen it. Just one question , I'm still on mushies and my nut didn't tell me what speed to blenderize my big Mac at , can you help?
  14. I'm in jersey with bcns horizon my approval letter for vsg congratulated my for wanting to get healthy and said something like "be advised bariatric surgery often leads to excess skin that we don't pay to remove" so basically "tummy tuck" removal of skin and lacing abdominal muscles is out, if you have medically documented skin infections in areas where skin hangs they will consider a lesser procedure that removes the skin apron but no internal work. My surgeon has a list of locals who do these procedures.
  15. Everyone has different post op experience, but if you are able to drink that much I would say its an edge for you, dehydration is what gets most of us in trouble acutely post op and thereafter. Congratulations and keep drinking and walking!
  16. That's funny! I'm a mechanic and people keep coming into the shop asking me for the big guy, I have even had to show my drivers license (before pic) 3x . But yeah I love it !!
  17. Woohoo bean keep flexing !!! I go in for my first hip tuesday hoping to be on the bike by spring ,as of today I'm getting in about 20 miles a week on the eliptical hoping the prehab gets me pedaling sooner.
