  4. So.....I am 7 months out post op, and I am doing pretty good in my losses, Im about half way to my goal weight.. but over the last few months, I have been experiencing horrible pain in my hips and knees. Like in the joint areas, my bloodwork all looks good, and my doctor has no idea why im experiencing this situation. She thinks it is probably arthritis, but I dont understand why it wasnt a problem 100 pounds ago! Not to mention, she doesnt think she can really prescribe me anything due to the whole NSAIDS issue. Have any of you experienced this issue, and if so, what remedies have you taken? Thanks!!!!
  5. I can speak from experience on this one.. I somehow talked myself in to having a glass of wine 4-5 weeks after surgery....I didn't experience the vinegar taste as I like sweet wines like Cardinale or Moscato... but let me tell you... 1/2 a glass, and I felt like I had drank 2 bottles!!! Drinking wine certainly isn't like it was before, and that experience was enough to scare me. Not to mention, like the previous posts.. yes it definitely does burn! Not to mention the heartburn you will experience afterwards too. Now I am 7 months out and I do enjoy a glass of wine now and again, but it is definitely not the same experience at all.
  6. I was a victim of the 10 day phenomenon too!! Actually, I am more hormonal and emotional now than I ever was before the surgery..... don't worry girl, it is all part of the process, and all for the greater good!!!!
