Hey I was wondering if someone can relate to how I'm feelin I'm 8 weeks post op and I just feel like I'm struggling had a really bad day yday and literally had a breakdown and had to call my mum and I'm now stayin with her for the time being as I can't Handel it anymore. I'm tryin my hardest but I'm findin it hard to even wanna eat anything thinkin about food makes me feel sick so I'm hardly eaten I find it so difficult to drink anything so hardly gettin any liquids in all I seem to be doing is crying because I'm just so exhausted I'm back workin full time and I just feel such a failure I knew having the surgery was life changeing and I'm grateful for it but I just don't know if this is normal I don't wanna spk to anyone cause I know all they will say is you need to eat more!! Does anyone else feel like this? X

Hey guys I'm just past 5 weeks post op and so far everything has been ok but I'm just so emotional I went back to work this week and its really tired me out so I don't know if this is why I'm just so drained its just like I don't wanna do nothin I feel very nauseas a lot and I'm struggling to eat or drink I just don't want too but I know I have too so I'm forcing myself. I also have such a sore back and all over my body some days can hurt is this normal? Please can someone tell me this is just a phase and il snap out of it x

  7. Hey thank u so much for ur response wow it burns? That sounds scary! I don't think I will then I don't wanna order one n then not enjoy it n then have to pay for a taxi home when I could have just had the car with me! Thank u so much and thank you for not judgein me x
  8. Thank you for ur response I totally understand that I honestly was just thinking the one glass. Even pre op I wasn't a big drinker so it's not something that I would do on a regular basis I just really wanna know if it would harm me x
  9. Unfortunitly I can't ask my surgeon that's why I have asked people there opinion and what they think. I don't understand why I would get emotional responses Im genuinely concerned x
  10. Heyy was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm just over 4 weeks post op I havnt had any issues and feel 100% fine, I'm going out with the girls tonight and was takein the car but now for some crazy reason I'm diein to have a glass of wine! My dr didn't give me an actual amount of time to not have alchol so was wondering what people would think, is it a really bad idea? Has anyone had a glass 4 weeks out and were they ok? Thank you...x

  12. Hey iam 15 days post op and I thankfully didn't have to do a pre op diet normally my surgeon gets people to do it to get them used to the diet but my surgery happened all so quickly that I didn't have to do one lol the day before surgery I even had a nandos!! X
  13. Hey I had my surgery a week ago tommorow! And I'm not gonna lie I cried like a baby it's the hardest thing iv ever done and the pain afterwards was ok just uncomfortable I had great nurses who helped me whenever I needed it just prepare urself for it because I didn't I'm now just able to swallow water without it comin back on me and eatin soup great but it was a struggle but now I'm a week out and can't wait for my future good luck but ul b fine xxx

I had my surgery on the 10th got out of hospital yday at first I was thinkin what have I done is this worth it the pain etc but now I'm home i feel great still in pain and still can't eat only drinkin water - well forcing myself to drink it. I know I have made the right decision I'm very excited to see the results in a few months xx
  16. I was exactly the same I didn't do a pre op diet I even had a nandos day before my op! I'm now 4 days out of surgery and food actually makes me feel sick it litrally changes over night ur reletionship with food don't worry x
