  2. Wow! That's awesome! I am sure next week will be a good week. Just keep up the good work and think positive!
  3. I asked the Dr that question yesterday and was told for my 10 cc band it is usually between 6 and 8. I am at 6 now and I can tell a Differance in this fill and all the others! I am hoping this is it for me! Time will tell. Good luck!
  4. I would wait. I just had a full yesterday and a lady did just what you are talki f about and was in misery her whole vacation because she was over full. She couldn't even swallow water. I don't think it's ever a good idea to have a fill before going out of town or state. It's better to play it safe and wait. I hope that helps!
  5. Wow! That is awesome! I can't wait to get all my weight off and have mine done too! How much did it cost?
  6. I had my first fill today. It was easy. I have some swelling near my port so they had to use a needle to remove some liquid from under my skin. They said it was because my body isn't use to the port and it is causing fluid to build up. I have to use ice packs on it again to help it go down more. I have never heard of this until today. Another lady had the same problem today. Kinda weird! Lol but I feel better already!
  7. My surgery was 4-30. I am starting to feel better now. I have been having pain where my port is, but today it feels a lot better! I am not losing yet either. But they said this is the time to heal and not worry about losing yet. easier said than done! LOL I have my first fill n the 21st. I am not scared to have it because I HAD TO HAVE SOME FLUID REMOVED FROM MY BAND THE DAY AFTER SURGERY, SO THIS SHOULD BE A PIECE OF CAKE COMPARED TO THAT!! Sorry for the caps. oops. I hope everyone is doing well!
  8. Good luck!! You will do fine don't worry.
  9. I had mine on Monday and I am still real sore. I am also having trouble getting even water down. I had 3cc in my band, so They had to remove some liquid from my band the second day and it made me feel more sick at my stomach. I hope it doesn't last to long. Although I am wearing my girdle now and that seams to help with the pain some! I hope you feel better soon!
  10. I go in Monday too. I am more excited than nervous at the moment, but that changes fast! lol
  11. What is an accountability partner?
  12. I can have 2 protean shakes and a soup at night. I can have broth and yogurt, cottage cheese. sugar free jello and sugar free Popsicles. I only do the protein shakes and soup and jello as needed in between. And water of course. I hope it gets easier for you. When you have a hard time just remember why you are doing it!
  13. It will get better. I am already on day 10!
