  1. I'm just hating the fact it itches and when I scratch and I can't feel it and it still itches lol
  2. I had 2 other surgeries before this one was a laparoscopy to my lower abdomen and surgery to my lower back never felt numbness so it could be a nerve but if its still numb by the time I see my surgeon I'll definitely inquire
  3. yes the first day I figured maybe they used the same numbing stuff they used when they did my iv but it has lasted 4 days so it kinda worried me like they hit a nerve or something and I've lost feeling forever lol

  7. Is it normal for your port spot to feel numb. I have no feeling on that side of my tummy. Has anyone had this issue?
  8. They say possibly nausea and/or vomiting causing band slippage, your new pouch has to ease into each texture of food maybe do pureed before soft regular foods
  9. Sensa is the only thing I kno that u sprinkle on your food and I think you get that online but other than that I don't know

  11. I just bought my protein shake I got cookies and cream designer whey haven't tasted it yet but I'll be on that for two weeks then to my pureed, the banding classes I went to gave us a list of different kinds we can take: body fortress unjury(online) health wise
  12. I've been ok with not eating right now I've kinda got used to it from the pre surgical diet. I got banded Wednesday, I've lost 6lbs since so I'm not mad the more I lose helps motivate me to go harder I'm just tired of feeling lousy. I walked a few blocks around the neighborhood, which on the norm is a peace of cake walk, but at the end of today's walk I thought I was gonna pass out. I've been feeling sick ever since so I'll just take it easier
  13. I have never felt this exhausted doing so little. Also some nausea, I just finally started feeling some hunger so I got a lil dizzy,
  14. Try a hot shower it helped soothe me some.....ice bag on incision will help swelling go down but was uncomfortable, warm water or decaf tea helped move gas a little. But pain is still here can't wait til I'm pain free.

  16. I asked the nurse she said hot showers but no hot water bags it will keep your stomach swollen and tender if you want swelling to go down use ice
  17. I was banded yesterday and I'm in so much pain! I can't get this gas to move any suggestions? No desire to eat or drink just sleep and walk to move gas
  18. Everything went good I end up having two surgeries they found a hernia and fixed it. I was sooo out of it yesterday I couldn't keep you posted but I just got home an 1hr ago. I am in pain and full of gas its very uncomfortable but I've been walking a lot to help it move, I'm no where near hungry jus sleepy
