  2. Progressive makes a low sodium sante fe style soup. I strain it and drink the broth. SO GOOD!!!
  3. I was sleeved on April 4th and has been dehydrated for 2 days till I finally called my sister and she came got the bottle of water and stated till I drank half of it. Them my daughter would remind me every 5 minutes to take a sip. The nausea, dizyness and headache went away and now I KNOW that I NEVER want to feel that way again. Sip sip sip
  4. To Mab it's so true that's exactly how I feel. I have to consciously DRINK something. I hope I snap out of this soon.
  5. Thanks all I will try harder with the water. I'm also going to see my doc today. He wants to run labs to see if I am dehydrated. I'll post updates soon.
  6. My surgery was April 4th I am now on soft foods. One thing I am struggling with Is my fluid intake. I can't seem to get more than 24 to 30 ounces and that's in flavored drinks and broth. I feel dry, I am urinating once or twice a day. Is this dangerous? Anyone else had this problem? What should I do?

  9. Played it safe today. Bought myself a get well present. A new MK purse and matching wallet. That oughta hold my shopping itch for a while. Guess I will have to shop in my own closet for a little while too.
  10. So my surgery was on April 4th. So far I have lost 23 pounds! I want to start shopping so bad. I'm at the mall now and I am overwhelmed with the choices and not sure if I should buy anything for fear of not fitting into it next week.

  12. I just discovered bumble bee sensations flavored tuna. Perfect size for our new lil tummies! Comes with 6 crackers although I did not eat those. At 110 calories and 18 grams of protien it makes a great lunch or dinner. Easy to pack and needs no refrigeration. Enjoy and don't forget to eat SLOW.

One of the nurses on duty at LV Hospital mentioned that there were 3 of us. I would love to compare notes with you hope to hear from you soon. Good luck on your journey.
  14. Hi I just had my sleeve surgery done on Wednesday April 4th at lehigh valley hospital cedar crest in PA my doctor was doctor Boorse. He has been great. I stated 2 days in the hospital and now I'm home getting stronger everyday. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Good luck!
  15. Hi, I had my surgery on the 4th. I too am feeling good. I'm not allowed any food, just clear liquids for the first week. So ape juice, chicken broth and water or anything else that is clear and liquid us ok. In sleeping ok and am not hungry or craving anything even though I'm only getting about 300 calories a day. Good luck feel better soon.
