  1. I am going to Mexico this Monday! Whoot whoot
  2. Good advice msoper, I think I will put the scale away. Out of sight out of mind, hopefully.
  3. Yes Vampsy, BMI of 30. I have about 40 pounds to lose. Lose being the main word...not gain. Maybe it is just water weight.
  4. WTF! I am on the pre-op diet to shrink my liver and have gained a pound. How is this possible when I am not eating crap. Could the fact I have eaten more protein than I usually would be the issue? I already have low BMI 30, should I stop the pre-op diet? My surgery is Monday.
  5. speaking of tickers, how do I get mine to show up? I too want to celebrate each ounce
  6. If you are looking for protein, the Unjury chicken soup is aawesome.
  7. Mariposa73, I think it has to do it BMI. Those with lower BMI don't have to do it as long. I could be wrong but that appears to be the common thread.
  8. The caffeine headache is terrible but it will only last about 3 days.
  9. Right there with you! My bags are packed, cutest pjs with matching slippers purchased, all the protein a girl could need. I agree with the others if you weren't a little apprehensive it would be strange. Take deep breaths, relax and remember you are about to change your world!
  10. You can always tell your co-worker that you are stalled but you are sure when you take a big **** a couple of pounds will come off and you can keep her posted, hee hee
  11. Super new to the forum, ummmm what is a NSV? From the context clues is is something good. I am sure there will be an increase in your water bill...wink wink
  12. Yikes this is my fear! I am so nervous that I will not lose. I did read a lot on the forum and many people stall about every 3 weeks. Pammie, does your protein shake have a lot of other junk in it? I know the more pure may not taste as good, but better for you.
  13. April 17th for me and I am so excited. I am having trouble thinking of anything else, feel sorry for my friends because it is all I can talk about. I have a lower BMI so I only have to pre-op diet for 2 days, so i will not complain about that since most have 2 weeks:-) Super crazy rookie question, how do i get the cute ticker to track my progress to show up like everyone else?
  14. Lucky Lady, that is kind of a loaded question. It is the more food you eat to fuel your body. If you eat something that will linger around in your system and not be used or broken down, that is bad. So choose foods that do something for your body.
  15. Geez, now I am getting nervous but for not being able to lose enough weight. I also have a low BMI, getting sleeved next Monday and have a goal weight of 120. Am I setting myself up for a heartache? My starting weight is 172
  16. So jealous! Thoughts and prayers going out to you.
  17. Oh I hope I will be freezing. I am having hot flashes now and let me tell you, I would rather put on a hoodie and try and strip down at work:-)
  18. Thanks everyone! Pdxman thank you, I do feel better. My surgery is next Monday and this WILL work for me:)
  19. I am worried about the same thing! A friend of mine said you will totally feel the pain and overeating like in the past is not going to be an option. I however have trouble believing this since I overate before and have said a billiion times....oh why did I eat so much.
  20. Hey me too. Is is weird that I am not nervous either. I think I have just been wanting this so long that I am at peace with my decision. Monday the 16th can't come too enough. Good luck!!!!!
