It is normal. I am 10 weeks post op with NO RESTRICTION and my will power is fading. Hang in there and continue to make healthy choices. Some day we will get to the "sweet spot".

When did you get banded?

Slow and steady.

I was getting frustrated because I been in a plateau for 3 weeks. But I am losing inches. I have an expensive suit (that I only worn twice) that I have not been about to wear for about 2 years. I tried it on hoping that it would fit. It was way to big. I couldn't believe it. I am doing better than I thought. Also, a few years ago, I brought some sexy underwear as an incentive and to wear to celebrate losing weight. They fit perfectly. I am still frustrated but feeling better in my sexy undies. Lol

Went to Zumba class on Monday. LOVED IT!!!!!!

I cringe whenever I see old pictures of me. I can't believe that I allowed myself to get that big. I deleted all pictures off facebook. I do have 1 picture to help keep me motivated.

Don't beat yourself up about it. We are all learning and struggling but we are doing better than we were.

Remember why you got banded in the first place. Please be encouraged. You came to far to turn back now. Forward march!!!!!

I also woke up from surgery and learned that I had a hital hernia repair. I didn't even know I had a hernia. I don't it made a difference with my recovery. I had no nausea but did have horrible gas pains for about a week.

The support here is good. It is good to know that others have same of the experiences. I am not alone in my journey.

Don't frustrate yourself over his diet. Just be a good example to him and make small suggestions from time to time. If he feels that you are nagging, he won't hear you.

Dear BreBre, please be encouraged. We have all been down that road. But we all got passed it. Give it time. This to shall pass. NO food taste as good as me looking good, feeling good and being healthy.

I had a hital hernia repair. The gas pain in my left shoulder had me in tears. Walking and the heating pad helped. Gas X didn't help at all.
