  1. Thanks...that's what I plan to do. Yummy.
  2. Yum...I hope so cuz that's on my list in a few days.
  3. Surely the shake will go through right? Id wait it out. I hope you are okay. You are okay to do protein shakes at this point...was it too thick?
  4. Printing off south beach type recipes...came across a spaghetti squash recipes. Has anyone had it since being banded? Does it go down okay?
  5. Oh boy you were lucky I was banded on the 19th...the gas is stuck in my chest. I bet this is how a heart attack feels. Ugh...cant wait for it to go away...and I dont feel like walking. ::stomps feet like a child::
  6. A lapband Dr I didnt go with (Dr. Terry Simpson) told stories of how he will open someone open and close them right back up because their liver was too fatty. So absolutely it can happen.
  7. Yum....I will try the laughing cow cheese with it. I normally eat it plain but I will try it with lettuce as a wrap...thanks!
  8. Absolutely! And easy to make...I need fast foods to make. Didnt realize tuna had a lot of sodium...ill check out Trader Joe's but I wonder if the tuna packets are better with the sodium.
  9. Yah...I like all of those salads but I want to stay full for a long time, make it easy, and not have a stuck episode. I thought maybe if I put a very very little amount of mayo and hummus in all of them they will slide less. I havent had a visit with a dietician yet so I cant wait to see what she says. Thanks for your reply.
  10. Yah! That's encouraging to hear you are doing well. I cant wait until I can say that.
  11. Are chicken, egg, and tuna salad easy to go down? Could they be considered a slider food? I know it's different for everyone but I was just curious for everyone's experiences with it. And I mean tuna, egg, and chicken with a little mayo not with lettuce.
  12. I love Pure Protein in Frosty Chocolate...the already made one in the car is okay but the powder one is really good. I make it on skim milk and I love it. Ive made it on water before and it was still pretty good. I get a shaker cup fill with 8 oz of milk put a scoop of powder and then lots of ice. It feels like Im not depriving myself, it tastes like chocolate milk.
  13. Ugh done...posted a little in April Bandsters. Feeling a liitle woosy so I didnt want to type much.
  14. On my way to the surgery center for the 545 am check in. I dont know if Im nervous yet it is too early. Probably having more angst about not wearing makeup and wearing a barely there, comfy bra than the surgery so far.
  15. No, I used True Results in Scottsdale...the doctor's name is Dr. Nirmul. A few years ago I went to Terry Simpson but they were more expensive...I went the self-pay route (& 2 people I know had it done with him). With True Results all of your fills for the 1st year are included in the price....that to me was huge.
  16. Aww..we'll be band buddies im in the morning too. Good luck!! I hope you get good sleep tonight.
  17. Lol...that's funny. I think you're on to something there. I know I dont care to eat so much when it is 110-120 outside. I live near Surprise but Im being banded tomorrow in Tempe. Ahhh.
