I feel the same way...as the day here closer the more nervous I get...but at the same time I know I'm making the right desicion..its a weird feeling...my surgery is on April 11th as well.

I have BCBS NY and they no longer require the 6 months either.

Hello Everyone, My name is Amy. I'm 24 years old. I'm 5 feet tall and I weigh 250 lbs. I started this journey on January 3rd, thank goodness with my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield), I didn't have to wait the 6th month period. Yay!!! So I have completed everything and my surgery date is exactly two weeks from today, on April 11! Super excited and nervous because I have never had surgery before. I'm so happy I found this amazing site. I'm trying to get informed as much as I can before surgery so I know exactly what to expect, no surprises. But if anyone has any advice for me it will be greatly appreciated :0) Thank you Everyone!!!!!

Congrats...I did my pre op testing last Monday...and medical clearance yesterday...my surgery date is April 11 :0)
